Called to make a mental health evaluation appointment. The first girl that answered the intake line said they did not provide mental health evaluation for the Jefferson county court. She also went on to say that she has had many people calling trying to make such appointments but have told them to look elsewhere since attorneys suggest to call Seven counties. The attorney reconfirmed this is the right place to make such appointments. Called again, a girl named Kelly answered the phone and said she is the team leader and that they did do these evaluations. Proceeded by providing her basic info and she continues to ask for social security information which I said if the patient could provide that in person during the initial paperwork on the first visit. She insisted it had to be provided over the phone. I said I would provide her all her medical insurance information but I was harshly denied saying the social security number is what’s needed to pull up information from insurance. She continued to be overly rude saying an appointment cannot be scheduled if a social security number was not provided to her. She then continued to threaten to end the call even when I suggested again about providing all medical insurance information. I can’t imagine someone with mental health issues dealing with such rude behavior from the intake department.
They listen to what I tell them that I am going through and how the meds make me feel.
Very friendly helpful and respectful
They are impossible to reach on the phone. All you get is a voicemail they never respond to!
Some of the rudest people work here or at least answer the phones. Called the number i was given by the suicide prevention hotline to get information about their outpatient treatments, the lady who answered the phone was so rude and said in the most annoyed tone “did you not call the crisis hotline first”, i was caught off guard as i was in a very emotional state due to a crisis situation. Im sure it was easy to hear that i was upset in my voice on the phone as well, but that did not change her tone. I responded with “well this was the number i was given but 988 but I’ll look up your alls crisis number instead” with as much attitude back as i could give while in that state, then hung up. Thankfully I talked to some really supportive people before and after her. But that could be the last straw for someone in a similar situation. Be kind, especially if you’re in this field.
They just can't get it together, can't return calls, ALWAYS make it a struggle to get your meds. If you have any other options whatsoever, go elsewhere. Also, they don't know what autism is much less how to diagnose it. And they treat their patients like intellectually disabled children when it's them who are at the height of incompetence.
I highly do not recommend Seven Counties in general as a resource for mental health help but ESPECIALLY this location. The majority of staff act like they do not have any real empathy towards people who are struggling with mental illness. The worst organization skill when it comes to communication and appointments. If you’re on a leave from work and you’re receiving short term disability good luck getting an extension or even them approving you to go back to work; everything seems to be “not their responsibility”. There’s are reason why no one can genuine mental health help in this country. Thank you seven counties for wasting my time.
Was surprised to find out one of the SUPERVISORS/MANAGERS said she thought the the people who were in the WTC ON 9/11 were in the wrong place at the wrong time!!! With thoughts like that, I’m sure she was totally okay when a bunch of kids expired in the Oklahoma City attack. Too bad, kiddos. “You shouldn’t have gone to daycare today.”
