If I could leave zero stars I would . Whenever I would call to talk to the head lady (Christy), I could never reach her. The receptionist was very unprofessional. I would leave my name and number for Christy and she would never call me back or respond to my emails. Weeks, to eventually a month went by and still , NOTHING!!!! How am I supposed to trust you all with my child if you all cannot keep me informed on what’s going on with my case??? Two thumbs down!!!! Would not recommend this place, and I feel sorry for the children under their care.
The CEO is very well experienced and Knowledgeable in all areas regarding services they offer.
This is an awesome place, the individuals here are very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. They treat everyone with dignity and respect, and actually care. These type of programs and/or people are hard to find especially in Cumberland County, NC. We need more people and place with this caliber of treatment and professionalism. Thankyou to Shine Light, and Thankyou to Ms.Nikki for all that you do.
Shinelight is such a wonderful organization that advocates and helps families with autistic children. The staff has been a godsend to me and my son, Matthew. They care for him like their own and I could not be more appreciative.
ShineLight has served my son since 2005. I honestly don't know what kind of future my son would have had without them. He has severe Autism and ShineLight never gave up on him. They always made a way for him when others didn't. They provide a safe and happy home for him and his housemates ( which he has lived with for 15 yrs) and they are his brothers, his family. One of the things Nikki, Tanisha and all the staff do is take the guys to the beach. They go to the pool, swim in the ocean, go shopping at the outlets and go out to eat! They love it and I love them! Thank you God for bringing them into our lives 🙏♥️
This is a big, old, historic home that's been refurbished into an office building. This company assists the Autistic Community with housing, employment, therapy and other community resources to aide them in becoming independent, self-sufficient, productive members of society. They have an entire network of Drs, nurses, therapists, caregivers, business owners, & volunteers whose sole mission statement is to help people on the Autistic spectrum overcome the many obstacles they encounter on a daily basis.
