Our experience with Siskin has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Every therapist we’ve encountered has been so supportive and truly invested in our daughter’s progress.

20 to 30 minutes was all for an evaluation for level 2 she really didn't interact with my child she is non verbal, did genetic testing no gentic genes the 1st or second time. No answers, or call back when asked for follow-up app. Instead of waiting a year because I have some questions/concerns and needs got one reply back was told i would get a response, still waiting for ABA going to look else where for that. I've never heard of an evaluation only taking 20 to 30.mins. Nor has anyone else including any other professionals never got anything explained to me or where to start just an SSI form.

We are so grateful for the amazing team at Siskin! Everyone is so kind, supportive, and dedicated. We’ve already seen such a positive impact from ABA therapy for my son, and it means the world to us. Absolutely amazing staff! They truely care about their clients and were fantastic with our 4 year old grandson. They took time to listen to our concerns and explained everything in detail. Never once did we feel like our grandson was being judged for his behavior issues. We love you Siskins!

Our experience was outstanding today. Tess was very friendly and thorough while sharing valuable resources regarding our child's diagnosis. She even helped us locate local therapy centers that accept our insurance. So grateful for Siskin!

Siskin Children's Institute got us an appointment months before we were able to get in other places with less notice so I appreciate that. Dr. Sterne was very present, informative and prepared for our questions. He engaged my autistic child and eased the minds of us as parents. Thank you for your services and mission!

I highly recommend avoiding Siskin. We went there because we could get in more quickly and left without any diagnoses. It was very frustrating and discouraging. The doctor asked me all of the questions about my son and his behaviors right in front of my son. It was heartbreaking. The doctor seemed very unfriendly and uncaring. We ended up going to Dr. James LaBarbara at Vanderbilt Children’s Psychiatric and it was SO worth the wait. We left with official paperwork confirming the two diagnoses I had already known my child had. What I really liked was that my husband & I met with Dr. LaBarbara together and without our child before our child met with him.

My son went here for an assessment 2x over a period of a couple years. Both times the Doctor dismissed us on our concerns and just said our son was delayed and had ADHD. Now we finally get into Vanderbilt and our son is quickly diagnosed with an obvious autism diagnosis and they were completely surprised he wasn’t diagnosed before (keep in mind nothing has changed and if anything his symptoms of this have improved) Now at this point early intervention is not going to work as well because he’s already 6 years old and he really needed the help earlier when we first noticed the obvious signs. He could have been so further ahead with care he could have qualified for but didn’t. That’s years we could have been getting our son help but couldn’t because the doctor at Siskin would not listen to us and was dismissive just because he was “social”. As far as I’m aware this doctor we saw no longer works there and they got a new doctor and they for all intents and purposes abandoned us for new patients, or that’s how the last minute email we received made it seem, so your results may vary. But in my opinion I don’t think it’s a very good center and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Just wait the extra time for vandy.

I would recommend anyone to come here this is the first place I've taken my son where they were kind and thorough and answered all my questions the staff was amazing and the woman at the front desk kasondra was very sweet and helpful with everything i needed and great with my son and the provider he was very kind and didn't rush at all was very informative he answered all my questions listened attentively and explained everything in a way I'd understand I left there with some answers and several directions to go in next I really appreciated not feeling lost and I left with hope intact would definitely recommend
