Sit, Stay Pawsitive! LLC

Ozzie (AKA Ozzie Octane), our rather large and rambunctious Australian shepherd, came to us from the pound as loveable but easily over-excitable and somewhat unreliable in social settings. Ceceilia’s obedience and reactivity classes at Sit Stay Pawsitive have given us the tools and knowledge to understand and address behavioral problems, resulting in a more joyful and stress-free life for all of us. Plus, her classes are loads of fun!

My family was overwhelmed after we adopted two chocolate lab puppies, but Ceceilia put us at ease. Her knowledge and patience with training has helped our dogs so much. Ceceilia made me feel so confident raising our puppies. Plus they are also always so excited to see her! She offers a good variety of group/private classes and I look forward to doing more training with her.

I’ve worked with Ceceilia a few times since adopting my adult dog, Hunley. I’m taking a class with her this month and definitely plan to attend trainings with her in the ongoing future because Hunley and I get so much from it! Ceceilia’s input, advice and guidance has helped tremendously. I’ve learned to continually foster a relationship with my dog in safe ways. Hunley and I have worked on his fears and reactivity. With time, patience and really putting in the work we’ve had a lot of progress. The important part is doing the work outside of training and following the language, cues and responses from your dog. Ceceilia has helped me grow as a “dog mom” to observe and reward Hunleys successful responses - which I’ve learned is the most important and exciting aspect of working with your dog.

Ceceilia is simply the best. She explains things clearly, provides thorough documentation, and is very patient with dogs that can be difficult to control sometimes. I had a wonderful experience in her puppy class and am looking forward to taking our dog to more classes in the future.

Absolutely LOVE our experience! The environment is so fun and positive, and Ceceilia does a fantastic job instructing and pacing the classes. Lots of productive feedback so you can correct and reinforce at home. These classes have made such a difference with our puppy.

Requested Cecelia’s help working on some behavioral and resource guarding issues between our 2 almost 2 year old pups. During the first time of meeting with her, it became obvious she was the person for the job, her assessment of the dogs, and her game plan moving forward and helping get them to a place of harmony, showed us how knowledgeable she is at her craft. We’ve only had a few sessions, but, my wife and I have noticed improvements already with their behavior.

Ceceilia is absolutely wonderful! She is so patient, knowledgeable, thorough, relatable, and just so caring/sweet to my dogs. So far we have only had 1 session with my 2 dogs to work on some of the basics as well as resource guarding issues but she has been so encouraging and reassuring thus far. I am truly excited to continue working with her, I know our pups are in good hands 🐾
