Small Talk Speech Therapy (Jacksonville)

Can’t say enough great things about this wonderful place! My daughter loves coming here to see Ms. Adriana & Ms. Emily. She’s been coming for over a year now & looks forward to practicing her speech every week. So grateful for Small Talk!

Always a great experience for my daughter. The therapist we have is amazing and consistent and communicates well. To make sure my daughter makes it on the book for her next session they message almost a month ahead.

Overall great people but poor lack of communication. My son now has to adjust to his 3rd speech therapist because the system allows for students to do their intern which is a good thing but my son has to pay for that because the students are coming and going coming and going which isn’t fair. Meanwhile my son has to adjust and get to know a whole new person. 3rd therapist within 6months is unacceptable, and we have to find these type of things out when we arrive because no one will ever call, the therapist he was seeing won’t reply back it’s just one big mess and I’m trying my hardest not to be upset about this but again this affects my son not theirs so I hope to never see small talk speech therapy again in life.

I highly recommend Small Talk to anyone whose child is in need of speech therapy. Having come from a different establishment, I was pleased as soon as we walked in the door for our evaluation. Our previous speech therapy had a very clinical feel and the majority of the time our 3 year old (at that time) was just sat in front of a screen. That is definitely not the case here. It has a very homey feel and they teach through play. Olivia is my son’s (4 year old) therapist and she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I could not mean that more! She not only stays engaged with him 100% of the time but she goes way beyond what I would expect from a therapist! She is the third therapist we have had in our 2 year journey and no one else even compares to her! Small Talk is extremely lucky to have her! I feel very blessed to have her in my son’s corner!

I would highly recommend Small Talk to anyone whose child is struggling! We have been going for over a year! And the therapist are just amazing! They are so good with my son. The Staff in general are amazing. Dealing with the therapist or dealing with the HR department, they are understanding and personable. My son looks forward to going! Not to mention how affordable they are without insurance!
