SmarTherapy

My daughter needs physical therapy, and from the beginning, they haven't been transparent at all with the administrative side. They've mishandled the information they should have given me as the patient's mother, which has delayed her treatment. They've also canceled several appointments just an hour before, without any consideration. I find this to be a total lack of respect and professionalism, especially when it comes to children who need this care. I don't recommend it at all—they should take their organization and commitment to their patients more seriously.

They are very friendly The therapists are very attentive, and always call to remind and confirm attendance

I am very satisfied with the care that both my son and I have received from the entire staff, and I am grateful for my son's positive progress thanks to his therapists.

LOVE LOVE LOVE smartherapy. I have been coming to smart therapy since my son was 4 years old and now his brother that is 2 years is attending now. I have been here since the previous staff members to the current members. the staff are kind, sweet to the children, and they know every child that comes through the door. the staff are well mannered and professional to the upmost. Samantha is the supervisor. she has been there for awhile, she is very passionate and caring to all the parents and the childrens that attend. she will make sure that your needs are meet with the staff and the therapist. I love the fax that they keep me updated with my son appointments and when his referral is abt to expire. they are flexible when it comes to changing the child's schedule. the therapist will give positive feedback and listen to the parents concerns.

If I could give no stars I would. My child was supposed to be a transfer from a different office, I sent over all previous medical records and the previous therapist's evaluation which was done late Jan 2024. After I sent it they told me their ST needed to do their own evaluation. I said cool no worries when can you see us. I set up an evaluation that took place on 3.12.2024 at 330pm. They had called and texted us to arrive early to fill out documents. I arrived at 2:50 pm and still was not seen until about 4:30 pm. I was like okay things happen no worries. We began the evaluation and the therapist came to the same conclusion that the last one wrote in our evaluation that was given to them. Once the evaluation was complete, the ST told us that the approval process would take 2 weeks, 3 weeks at most. (Which is reasonable and it's not my first rodeo with insurance approvals and how the process works AND I work in healthcare myself). It is damn near May and the only time I've heard from SmarTherapy is when I CALL. There is absolutely no communication from them no check-ins no explanation as to why they aren't doing their jobs properly. Mind you we wouldn't be seeking their services if it wasn't needed. I've called numerous times to check in and I do understand there can be delays with these kinds of things BUT the excuse they always give is "Her PCP hasn't signed it" or "Humana hasn't approved it" ... lies because I called both and neither have received it. I then called SmarTherapy back to let them know and gave them a few days before calling the PCP and Humana again... they STILL have not received it. The moral of this whole thing... don't waste your time with a company that doesn't even have the decency to call with an update or show the slightest bit of effort.

Absolutely terrible, I've had confirmed appointment dates changed without my knowledge 3 times. My son has been with SmarTherapy for almost 2 and half months. Each time he goes, he has a brand new therapist. Each therapist starts from square one because its their first time with him. So every single time I pick my son up I'm told he's 'good at drawing circles and lines'. They have done nothing but waste our time. The front desk girls take no type of accountability for the scheduling errors and the one with glasses, sorry i don't know her name, is extremely rude. Do yourself a favor and take your child somewhere else.

Amazing staff! Seriously, all of the therapists are caring and have a high level of patience. Front desk and support staff are responsive, accommodating and professional. Highly recommend. They offer Speech, OT and PT.

“Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well, and more when your child is the one who is in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to bring my son here. He was very well taken care of.”
