Forever grateful for the Soar staff at Arcadia. Our children have gained valuable skills and grow daily. Staffing is very consistent, ongoing support and training truly make everyone here fantastic to work with. On-site OT and Speech are beyond the best we have ever worked with.

Very sketchy. I asked for pricing so I can be aware of out of pocket costs before we meet our insurance deductible and I spoke with Dru who is the owner. She just kept telling me they charge insurance companies different and would only give me a price if we didn't have insurance. I asked if that would be our out of pocket cost until the deductible was met but she said that may not be as they charge insurance companies different. Me last email to her was to please give me a max out of pocket cost so I can see about affordability. She never responded.

Our twins are graduating this fall. I know they will miss Soar a ton. Couldn't have asked for a more caring team. That made all the difference. We love our Soar family!

Edit: As mentioned in my other updated review, this opinions were based on staff that we got to work with previously. Updating rating to reflect my final thoughts on operations. The absolute best thing to happen to myself and my 2.5 year old! Staff is so attentive, hands on, loving and HAPPY to be there! My baby and I are so thankful for the services he receives here, and we never leave without a smile!

Our family's experience with Soar Autism began incredibly positively. For about 18 months, my child thrived with an amazing, consistent team. We saw consistent goal achievement, and both our child staff were genuinely happy more often than not. I left two favorable reviews here for the quality of care received by people who saved our lives. A significant shift occurred shortly after this point. I observed consistent turnover, callouts, and visible signs of burnout, coinciding with frequent announcements of new center openings and expansions. As a parent who utilized their open-door policy, I noticed the center's atmosphere become increasingly rushed and tense. This led to more unhappy children as they frequently lost their favorite teachers, disrupting their sense of normalcy. My child had refrigerated food spoil several times, because RBTs were not given time to monitor its storage during shifts. I began raising concerns, subtly at first, as I saw more and more of the once dedicated and lively staff become drained and leave. After our second BCBA departed (first was promoted), I requested to speak with operations. My discussions with the front desk and area operations director felt dismissive; while they acknowledged issues, their explanations about promotions/transfers (some true, most not) and proposed "plans" felt insufficient. When I expressed discomfort with a remote BCBA due to some specific physical needs and the lack of familiarity, my concerns were met with replies focused on qualifications, not genuine understanding or an attempt to clarify what our family's needs were. Despite management's optimism for a "revival," I continued to hear of staff struggles with lack of training, stress, and irregular scheduling. A former employee shared that metrics seemed prioritized over prompt toileting. Owners proactively contacted families to support political lobbying for Medicaid funding, yet there was no true outreach to understand the day-to-day family experience, despite their stated commitment to parental involvement. A dedicated family liaison is noticeably absent, and when quarterly progress meetings DO allow a place to submit feedback, not much could really be done afterwards. After further observation of these changes and their impact on my child, I directly emailed the owners. My questions focused on how RBTs and clinicians were being supported with increased workloads, and how burnout was being addressed and mitigated – I asked not for intimate details of operations, but for an acknowledgment of the validity of my experience and a discussion about continued fit, as I perceived profit gaining precedence over clinical care. This email was sent at the end of business day, and was a bit spicy after weeks of the runaround. Ian's reply, sent around 6 AM the next day, essentially stated my perception was "wrong," asserting they'd already spoken to employees who did not corroborate my observations. Feeling that progress was impossible at this point, we chose to end our time at Soar. As anticipated, most of our child's remaining RBTs have since moved on. When advised of why we were leaving, many were disappointed, but not shocked by how things were handled. While I will always appreciate the staff that poured into my baby and his care while we were clients, I ultimately felt it would be irresponsible to continue care here after what felt like a defensive response when I directly questioned their priorities. It was stated that my concerns were an attack on Jen and Ian's character, who seemed to come across as solely relying on their view as parents to an autistic child, rather than being open to what other families may experience or what they may be "blind" to. I am thankful for the progress we achieved! I also truly wish the best of luck to those coming through the program and advancing their careers here!! I have no doubt that the remaining staff is still full of incredible people - please just make yourself a priority, because the kids need you!!
