We liked the therapist Mary but couldn't deal with the scheduling BS any longer. We had appts scheduled in advance for beginning or end of day and they continously moved them without ever contacting me. I even have a print out of the appt times from them. They thought because I am a stay at home mom I could bring my daughter any time any day. Never even called me, I have them all scheduled in my phone and get a confirmation text with a different time of day. They wanted to fill those middle of day appointments and thought we would always be available.

I have never felt as unheard as I did here. Do not take your children here, they will not receive the help they deserve and they'll not be capable of telling you how much harm this place causes until they're adults. Please, if you want to get help for them or yourself, it isn't anywhere to be found at Solutions. Go somewhere else and save yourself the time, energy, and money.

My counselor is very supportive she listens to me and comes up with some very good solutions Frank R,

*update 2024* Unfortunately, since this provider isn’t here anymore, there is not much good I can say about this facility. What a shame. I’ve moved on. *original 2023* I can't say enough good things about Jill McMullin at Solutions. She was my previous provider at another facility and I am so thankful I found her again. I will not go to another provider as long as Jill is taking patients, she has changed my life! She is one of the smartest, caring, and patient providers I've ever worked with (and I work in healthcare!).

I hate that we are forced to give at least one star. The only thing I would ever give Solutions a 5 star on is a previous provider, Jill McMullen. After Jill left, I was shuffled over to Dr. Meek. I was unimpressed with the “care” I received, but honestly, I see the best psychologist in the region for therapy so I figured I’d just continue with Dr. Meek for my meds until I found someone better. It’s not like he really had any input or bearing on my mental health, (aside from angering me), so I was lazy and continued seeing him via telehealth. My final appointment with him was what did it, he literally took a big ol’ bite of what appeared to be a burger. Just munching away during my telehealth appointment. The lack of professionalism and poor etiquette floored me. Sadly I lost my job and couldn’t switch doctors at the time. Dr. Meek refused to fill a depression medication and two controlled substances, one specifically for anxiety. I could deal with those, but having lost my job and with other personal matters going on, I was desperate to stay on my depression meds at the very least. Without a job I couldn’t afford the $175 appointment so I asked about a payment plan or some kind of assistance. Their sliding scale assistance doesn’t work for psychiatric services so that was a no go. I will say, the billing lady tried to be helpful, but Solutions doesn’t give patients much leeway when they aren’t cash cows. Finally, I tried leaving a message for Dr. Meek, the receptionist was great, I explained my job loss and my request was for him to at least send in a prescription for my depression meds. She took down a message and read it back to me, again, she was great. Needless to say, no prescription was called in and there were zero attempts to reach out to me to let me know he wouldn’t or couldn’t do it. The whole do not stop taking depression medication abruptly is the last thing Solutions cares about. Solutions, and Dr. Meek specifically, would rather a person go off their meds and risk them having another major depressive episode than to assist them with a payment plan or call in a non-controlled medication. Go eat another burger Dr. Meek, you’re a terrible excuse for a doctor. I just want to point out the number of positive comments/reviews about Jill. She was the best thing to happen at Solutions.

I had my psychological evaluation and I was supposed to see a specific psychologist, but after a few sessions, I found out that she was leaving. I also had a therapist to manage my medications, but out of the blue, she was gone and the only one they have is Dr. Steven Meek in SD! I don't like Telehealth appointments when it comes to my psychiatric care. He has not ordered any blood tests that I am supposed to have every few months to make sure everything is within normal limits because they help determine if my medications are working properly. My medical records are available for him to see my history.
