My family has had an incredible experience with Susanne and SMPT. They have our highest recommendation! Immediately upon staring services for my four-year-old son, Susanne taught my husband and I some simple, practicable, and actionable strategies for supporting him (i.e. using play dough as a sensory tool to engage his focus in the time before dinner when he tends to have excess energy). She helped us feel empowered, supported, and understood from day one! She sees and appreciates my son as a whole person first, and not only his diagnosis. She developed a strong, kind and calm rapport with him, and he really looks forward to his sessions each week. She works with his strengths, and helps him develop new skills from there (i.e. he loves puzzles so she uses puzzles in obstacle courses to get him doing bigger movements). Susanne also takes time to talk with me after each session, offering feedback and simple strategies to try at home. We have learned SO much, and made so much progress through SMPT - both my son individually, and us as a family. Thank you SMPT!

Susanne and her team are incredible! We attribute the eventual diagnosis of our son, to Susanne’s intuition and relentless pursuit to help our family find answers. The facility itself is clean, convinient and fun! Would recommend SMPT to families looking to recieve OT services with a team of therapists that truly care!

We have had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Natalie at SMPT!! We have worked with OTs at multiple places since our son was a baby and SMPT is by far our favorite. Our kiddo LOVES going, adores Natalie, and has made so much progress. They are encouraging, playful, knowledgeable, and truly care. They celebrate our sons successes and partner with him to work on his challenges. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Natalie has been amazing and has made a huge difference in my daughter Emma’s life. She was diagnosed with ADHD years ago but by far OT with Natalie has made the most difference in how she maneuvers through school and life! Natalie has been a life saver.

We love working with Natalie. My son looks forward to going every week. He is making progress all the time, and we have been given tools to use at home. She is always ready to listen to my questions and concerns. We couldn't be happier with our experience at SMPT. Natalie is amazing!

I cannot recommend SMPT enough! Susanne has been wonderful to work with. It is obvious that working with children is her passion and she has an amazing ability to connect with children. My son looks forward to working with her each week. He has progressed significantly since we started. I attribute this to Sussane's skill in making everything fun and finding creative ways to weave OT into their play. She is an expert in her field.

Susanne has been amazing with our son. We reached out to her and started OT in 2020 due to increased behaviors at home, but did not have any formal diagnosis. She worked with him for a couple of months and then was instrumental in helping us get him in for official evaluation and diagnosis. She was then able to work with us on specific goals based on that diagnosis. She is very involved and very good at explaining what is being done and how each session has gone. Our son looks forward to going to his "meetings" with her and has made major gains and has been able to successfully integrate into a full time kindergarten class this year, with major credit due to Susanne!
