We couldn’t be happier with our experience at SpeakABLE Speech Therapy Services. Our son has made incredible progress since starting—he can now express himself verbally and clearly. He genuinely looks forward to every session chanting, "Play, play, play with Mr. Jay!" He has a lot of fun and doesn't even want to leave whenever the session with Mr. Jay is over! Compared to when my son started, his communication skills have improved significantly—not only in speech clarity, but also in his confidence and willingness to express himself. When Mr. Jay was unavailable, my son had sessions with Ms. Ana and Ms. Kathye, and both of them made my son feel comfortable and supported during their sessions. This speaks volume of the therapists' skills and the service that the SpeakABLE team delivers. We appreciate the text reminders, occasional emails, flexibility, as well as Ana Mae's almost immediate responses. When we are unable to attend in-office sessions, we appreciate that video calls were an option, or even a phone call to get an update on my son's progress. They’ve made a lasting difference in our son’s life—and in ours. Highly recommend!

My daughter loved Mrs. Vilma and all her toys. She loved going each week. The other therapists she had met with were also great. Mrs. Cathy and Mr. Jay each brought great experiences and fun times with my daughter as well.

I wanted to share our positive experience with Speakable Speech Therapy. My son was assigned to Ms. Ann, and the progress he has made under her care is remarkable. When we first started, his vocabulary was very limited; in fact, the only word he could say was "no." Now, he has expanded his vocabulary significantly and is communicating much more effectively. I am incredibly grateful to Ms. Ann and the entire team for their dedication and support.

When my son was 21 months old, he could only speak under 10 words. He was referred to Speakable Speech Therapy by his case manager from Regional Center of East Bay in December 2024. After his sessions with Mr. Jay, I see improvement in his word counts. As of now March 2025, he is 24 months old and his vocabulary is up to 30 words. I am happy that he can speak more and he enjoys going to his speech class at Speakable. He is already excited when we arrive at the parking lot. Mr. Jay introduces words to my son by playing along with him and interacting with him. He let my son choose what toy to play. My son likes all activities with Mr. Jay especially the gym toward the end of the session. Speakable is very flexible in term of scheduling. When I could not make it to one session, they were able to help me reschedule to a make-up session. They are very good at sending out texts to remind me of the up coming session. They are very quick at getting back to me when I have any concerns. When Mr. Jay was out of office, my son was seen by different therapists like Ms. Ana, Ms. Vilma, Ms. Kathye, and they all were very good. I appreciate the professional and the help from the therapists. I highly recommend Speakable Speech Therapy to parents who have kids with delayed speech like my son.
