My son is new to this program and I already see a change in his behavior and communication. Because he’s totally nonverbal, I was reluctant at first to let him go anywhere (first child with autism, so I was very guarded and protective, while still learning and understanding).. but I heard so much great things about this team, I had to give it a try! THE BEST DECISIÓN I’VE EVER MADE!! I am, not only completely trusting of them but I absolutely love the relationship they have with my son, so we consider them family! They are a blessing to our family and I would recommend anyone to this group of genuine people! If you guys are reading this, THANK YOU!!

The landscape of the Autism spectrum is nearly uncharted, and it can be an intimidating territory to be in without the proper guidance. Everyone part of the spectrum has a uniqueness to how they see and interact with the world that is completely different from everyone on and off the spectrum. This can make navigating the landscape difficult, not only for the person on the spectrum, but also for the family. Our son is almost completely nonverbal, but that doesn't mean that he isn't an incredible communicator or a great listener, he just does it in his own amazingly unique way. Without the ABA therapies provided to my wife and I by Spectrum Autism Services, being able to know how to communicate best with our son, or understand how he communicates with us, would be a difficult task to achieve. Spectrum Autism Services has been more than a knowledgeable and compassionate group of professional individuals for our family... They care for our son as if he was a son of their own. They've been a part of our family every step of the way as we discover new ways to communicate with our son, for him to communicate with us, and for him to communicate and safely interact with the world. Spectrum Autism Services has help give our son and our family a unique language to communicate with, a language that is just as amazingly unique as he is.

I met my best friends son a little over 5 years ago, he was about 3 years old at the time. He was the first child I personally ever encountered with autism, he was non-verbal, hyperactive, and imaginative. My best friend would work with him constantly, coming up with ideas to help direct his behaviors... and ways to express his feelings. My husband and I would notice each time we were together something new with him... each time we would leave their presence we would always discuss how special he was, as well as how amazing she was doing as his mother to help him succeed. Over the past 3 years esp we have noticed he has become more verbal, when expressing a need or want. He recognizes who my whole family is by name, he can say his phone number... which 3 years ago I was never sure he would be able to do. With the help of Spectrum Autism Services combined with his mother and step dad he has become an outstanding little boy. Every day is still a challenge, but he has come so far and will continue to progress, because he has the correct people in his daily live to help him beat the spectrum. XOXO

My son who is diagnosed with Autism and ADHD has been receiving services with Spectrum for 2 years now. Spectrum has always put the needs of my son, and our family first, and have been very accommodating with his other therapeutic obligations. They have supported my son not only in the home, but by collaborating with his other service providers, doctors, and teachers. They also provide parent training so that I can carry over the skills they have taught my son in his sessions and we can generalize these skills outside of the home. We have been VERY pleased with Spectrum. They listen to the parent's concerns and show they are dedicated to the treatment of the entire family, not just the child. I don't believe the previous review to be an accurate reflection of Spectrum's services.
