We had such a positive and impactful experience with Dr. Kriz at the PEDAL Clinic. My son, Arlyss, has Level 2 autism and ADHD with significant sensory sensitivities, and from the moment Dr. Kriz met him, his calm, grounded, and disarming presence made all the difference. He spoke softly, moved gently, and brought such a peaceful energy into the room that Arlyss felt immediately at ease—something that’s incredibly rare in new clinical environments for neurodivergent kids. I felt, for the first time in years, like we were truly in good hands. As a parent who’s been advocating since Arlyss was 8 months old (I used to be a live-in nanny for over a decade), I can’t overstate how validating and relieving this experience was. For years, I was told my son was “fine” and that his challenges were just “behavioral,” despite CLEAR signs of autism. It wasn’t until his struggles became undeniable in kindergarten that professionals finally started listening. After nearly an 8-month wait to be seen at PEDAL, I feared we'd be dismissed again—but instead, we received one of the most comprehensive, clinical, and thoughtful evaluations we’ve ever had. Dr. Kriz was incredibly thorough, balancing professionalism with warmth. He offered practical tools, thoughtful insights, and even shared a hopeful long-term outlook—that with the right supports, Arlyss might not even meet the criteria for autism down the road. That statement alone gave me the strength to continue investing in his OT, play therapy, trauma therapy, DSP caregivers, and special education supports. I’ve returned to this evaluation many times to guide next steps. Best of all? Arlyss really enjoyed his time with Dr. Kriz. And for a neurodivergent kid with a complex profile, that says everything. Thank you, Dr. Kriz, for truly seeing and supporting kids like mine. You made a lasting impact on our family, and I’ll forever be grateful.
