Jessica has been an absolute blessing to our family. She is an incredible occupational therapist who has made such a positive difference in my son’s life. Her patience, creativity, and genuine care show in every session. She meets him exactly where he is and finds ways to help him grow in confidence and independence. We have seen huge improvements in his skills, routines, and overall happiness since working with her. Jessica truly goes above and beyond, not just helping him build skills but helping us as parents understand how to support him at home too. We are so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and the joy she brings to every session.
One star is generous. My wife and I confirmed—more than once—that our insurance was accepted before bringing our kids to St. Luke’s Children’s Rehab. We were told everything was fine. Later, we found out the clinic was actually out-of-network. No one told us. No one disclosed it. When my wife followed up, the clinic manager, Amy, responded with zero accountability. She told her, “That’s the parent’s responsibility,” as if we’d failed our kids by trusting their staff to give accurate information. No apology. No ownership. Just blame. Because of that, our children—both of whom have disabilities—lost access to care they were actively receiving. Not because we couldn’t pay. Not because we walked away. But because we no longer felt safe keeping them in a system that shows this little respect for families. This isn’t our first issue with this clinic, and unfortunately, we’ve had to file another formal complaint. We’ve since pulled our kids—and ourselves—out of the St. Luke’s system completely. We’re not asking for special treatment. But when a clinic can’t be upfront with families already managing complex needs, that’s a serious problem. If you’re a parent, double-check everything. And don’t assume you’ll get transparency here—because we didn’t.

She told me, “That’s the responsibility of the parent,” as if I had failed my children by trusting her staff to give accurate information. This is the second formal complaint I’ve had to file about this facility. Their lack of transparency and accountability led to my disabled children losing access to care. Not because of a denied bill. Not because we refused services. But because we no longer feel safe bringing our children into an environment where families like mine are blamed, dismissed, and treated like an inconvenience. This is not how a pediatric rehab center should operate. This is not how you treat families already navigating disability and hardship. We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking to be treated with basic decency. And we did not get that here. We have since pulled our entire family out of the St. Luke’s system. We will not return. No family should have to fight this hard just to receive respectful, honest care.
The therapists (Ms. Amy Starr and Ms. Taylor King) have an unending amount of patience when it comes to working with my daughter. They have definitely know what they are doing and it shows in my daughters progress (even if it’s slow, it’s consistent).
