Stepping Stones has been a blessing in my children’s lives and honestly a blessing to Londonderry. They go above and beyond any other OT and they value your children. Each teacher is tailored to your child and your child will feel so lucky and be so excited to come every week. I highly recommend them!

My son has made remarkable progress in his functional skills, which are dependent on his gross and fine motor skills. He is a young adult who was struggling with performing daily tasks and was developing compensatory habits that were detrimental to his mobility. He has improved and is moving appropriately without constant prompting. He is using his hands much better in performing tasks without assistance. The staff are very patient with him and make therapy fun. He looks forward to going to therapy and getting attention from his therapists. Very friendly environment for children, teens and young adults.

I was completely overwhelmed with never ending wait-lists, desperately searching for services for my 2 year old daughter newly diagnosed with moderate autism spectrum disorder. I am so grateful I found Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy, Inc. I wanted to share in case it helps another family as much as it has drastically impacted mine. Don't hesitate to contact them. Finding them has been magical. What a drastic difference the entire start to getting services has been compared to every other place I've contacted. They responded promptly, extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and understanding. They tailored their recommendations about my child based on our in depth discussions and getting to know my child in person. They saw my daughter as the awesome kid she is first and not just another child diagnosed with autism. Don't hesitate on the summer intensive programs they offer. My daughter started mostly nonverbal (one consistent word and two inconsistent words) with no nonverbal gestures (like pointing). Ended her two week summer intensive with at least 21 new words (quickly wrote out all her new words to count them for this review), pointing to things with her finger, starting to follow some two step commands, smoother transitions with no longer needing to protect her head to safety (still a toddler and experiencing normal toddler big feelings), and absolutely loves going to her sessions. I am so happy my child will continue ongoing services at stepping stones for as long as she needs them! Thankful to stepping stones for helping my daughter learn to express her needs, share her plans, and carry out her ideas.

We are so grateful to have found stepping stones for my daughter's therapy needs! They provide many different services and group sessions for kids with all diffrent abilities. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable and have helped us a lot. We loved that there was no wait list when many other clinics have months if not years on their wait lists. The clinic is always clean and safe, our favorite part is the big sensory room with a ball pit and swings. My daughter feels extremely comfortable and is so quick to run in and start exploring at every visit and is even quicker at running to pick out a special treat at the end of her sessions. As a parent it is very comforting that it's not an in and out ASAP clinic, she gets to explore the waiting room before and after her sessions and if she finds a toy she's interested in she is welcome to sit and play and we are not rushed into the room for her session or out of the clinic when she's done. My daughter has a hard time with transitions and the therapists are amazing at helping me if she's having a hard time and I need extra hands to put shoes on or carry her bag so I can help her. We love that there is an AAC group for kids that use a communication device, my daughter is new with hers and it's so great to talk with other parents about their experience learning the device and it's great for my daughter to be able to see other kids using their devices as well. Pauline is amazing and is our physical therapists, we are thankful that it's not the typical clinic therapy where the kids run and play. With Pauline she does squats, and leg lifts and physical activities that work her specific muscles. Megan is her speech/AAC therapists, she is incredibly knowledgeable and helped us get my daughter her device when we were having a hard time. She has helped my daughter become more verbal and is extremely helpful giving us at home skills to help her more. We have run into other staff members and they are just as friendly and helpful. If you need a great therapy clinic, I highly recommend stepping stones pediatric therapy in londonderry.
