Atrocious experience with Mental Health counselors. Previous one with Brett monthly sessions were cancelled few hours before meeting and created a situation where I am without counseling for 2 months straight. Melissa the new manager is unprofessional performing drastic changes such as a transfer without as much professional decency as a phone call. Ensuring me a counselor is available but then turns out when I speak with the counselor after the transfer which had to be 1 of the other instead of a gradual transition due to their operating processes, I am now so frustrated and have lost confidence in the new manager. I really liked working with Maria, she’s very helpful. I also am still waiting for them to review their emails in order for them to provide me with proper treatment. Current staff and structure in mental health is so awful I’m surprised they function.

This facility was nice. After paying more than $1,200 for services. Paid in advance they refused to reimburse me for just three days. I left on good terms but why make lifes struggle even harder. Nothing to them was a lot to me! BEWARE.

I really like the staff at the reception desk. They have always been helpful with anything I have needed. Andthe group that I attend is informative and enjoyable. Really great place to get mental health and substance abuse treatment. They don't make you feel like just another addict.

I believe that the programs offered at Stillaguamish mental health center is perfect for those in early and late recovery!. The staff are very educated in alcohol and drug addiction and seem compassionate and dedicated in what they do. I really liked my counselor Amy. She was a good listener and truly wanted to help me with my journey of chronic pain and past addiction issues. I was clean from illicit drugs 13 before entering the clinic but, used hard core drugs for more than 20 yrs.. Dr Dickinson is iAwesome but unfortunately now retired. He was funny, great sense of humor and doesn’t take any B.S.. I will Always remember him fondly. My advice to anyone who wants to become clean and sober is you really have to want it badly and be serious about changing your life for the good. If I can do it..., anybody can do it! “N0BODY SAID IT WOULD BE EASY”....BUT ITS WORTH IT!!!!

Staff are very kind, friendly & welcoming making patients feel at home. The happy, cheerful atmosphere of the clean & sober staff made it an excellent environment to be able to visit with others that were also struggling with their alcohol & drug addictions. I met many new people got invited to AA & NA meetings & was offered rides by many of them. The staff encouraged honesty & freedom of speech which was very helpful & also made it more fun & laughter like they say is the best medicine. I felt safe & never saw mean, rude, or threatening behavior by anyone but I myself was told to leave the premises a few times which needed to be enforced admittedly because of my behavior which was rude & explosive. I even called the Stillaguamish Police Chief Joe asking for his understanding & help transitioning me from illegal downer drugs to legal drugs from our drug Dr. Dickinson & my other doctors. My life problems were overwhelming & causing me a displaced aggression problem. The previous Director/Clinical Supervisor Melanie & tribal employees including police were more than fair to me & forgiving & understanding. God bless them. They are peacemakers & fixer-uppers trying to make the world a better place. I have been to other treatment facilities but this was my favorite one. I would also say it was more effective than my inpatient treatment. I am looking forward to going back there for one on one counseling & support from the Director & clinical supervisor & I am very glad, thankful & grateful for their help. I commend them not because I am a Stillaguamish Indian & we own this treatment facility but because they earned my respect & admiration.
