Strengthen Social Skills

My son has a solid base to move forward with from this class/group and I have a new group of friends too.

Everyone was super helpful, and friendly. Be prepared to work alongside your child in this class. It has helped my son expand his social circle.

It is a great program for neuro-divergent kids and parents to learn the building blocks for social interaction. Parents have an opportunity to learn alongside their child, so terms and structure are the same. My daughter and I got on the same page, and it has helped tremendously! 10/10 would recommend

Outstanding social skills group for preteens! I can’t say enough good things about this social skills group! My child gained invaluable tools for making and maintaining healthy peer relationships, and I’ve seen a real difference in his confidence and interactions with others—all while I, as a parent, felt supported in learning these skills alongside him. The program provided a supportive and engaging environment where kids could practice essential social skills in a way that felt natural and fun, while parents gained insights and strategies to reinforce these lessons at home. The facilitators, Angie and Joan, were knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. They created a space where kids felt comfortable opening up, trying new strategies, and learning how to navigate friendships in a positive and constructive way. Since completing the group, my hope is that my child will use the skills he learned to build stronger connections with peers, handle social situations with more ease, and approach friendships with greater confidence. I highly recommend this group to any parent looking to help their child strengthen their social skills in a welcoming and encouraging setting!

The PEERS young adults social skills classes with Angie and Joan covered effective communication and relationship skills through video examples, activities, and group discussions. The young adults were typically in one room and the parents/coaches were in a different room. Angie and Joan were kind and welcoming. I wish this class had been available when I was young! I highly recommend this series for any young adult, looking to improve their social interactions and build meaningful relationships. It was a great investment in personal growth and future success.

This has been, by far the Best Social Skills group my Son has ever been through. Angie and Joan present a warm and Welcoming feel. This made it comfortable and my Son could not wait for the next session. If you get the opportunity to join, I would Highly recommend it. So excited to see such growth in my Son. Stacy S
