We had a very positive experience with the Strides Speech therapy. Bethany Lemak was very attentive and patient and professional with our daughter. She had done a great job and we are grateful she agreed to take us, as my daughter is not English speaking and had speech development delay at 2,5 years, so we had to do a very hard job – start talking both native language and a little English. After each session my daughter like had a big step forward. Bethany also gave us a lot of recommendations that we did at home. We strongly recommend the place. We also had a very good support from administration every time we needed any change in schedule. We thank all the team of Strides therapy.

We have been doing virtual speech class with Ms. Chelsea Yorks and she was wonderful! She left the practice, however we are now seeing Miss Connie Bryner! She is equally as wonderful and exceptionally knowledgeable. My daughter has made great progress and it’s hard to mask my excitement when I see her picking up new sounds. She’s very patient and able to bring my child to attention effortlessly. Scheduling has always been a breeze with Amy and I appreciate being able to email or text the staff! :) Very thorough and efficient all way around!

I am deeply disappointed with our experience at Strides Therapy Gambrills Maryland. During my daughter's recent evaluation, it became clear that Ms. Sherelle Duncan's approach to handling children with speech issues is overly rigid and dismissive. While she determined that my daughter falls within "normal limits of intelligibility," this assessment failed to take into account the specific challenges we face regarding articulation and pronunciation, which are significantly impacted by her anxiety. Instead of providing support or exploring ways to help improve my daughter’s speech skills, Ms. Duncan seemed dismissive of our concerns, almost implying they were irrelevant due to her scores. This reaction felt not only unprofessional but also rude, leaving us feeling invalidated as parents seeking assistance for our child. It’s important to recognize that just because a child's speech is deemed ‘intelligible’ does not mean they do not require help, especially when underlying issues like anxiety affect their communication abilities. I urge Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Crofton Gambrills to reconsider how they engage with families and address individual needs rather than relying solely on clinical benchmarks. I hope others seeking support can find a provider who truly listens and understands the complexities of each child's situation.

We have loved Strides Speech therapy my son has been here since october and nicole, brenna, sophia, and sherelle were perfect SLP's. they were kind and super fun to work with. my son who is level 3 autistic went from barely babbling, to happily babbling, to saying words to communicate. We have loved our time here.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Nicole! She is truly an amazing speech therapist—patient, kind, and incredibly attentive. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand how my child learns best, tailoring each session to his unique needs. Her dedication and thoughtful approach have made a world of difference. From the first session until now, I've seen such incredible improvement with my child!

Strides is absolutely amazing! We’ve seen so much progress with our daughter since we first started sessions in 2022. Brenna is incredibly patient and shares meaningful knowledge with me in every session. You can tell she truly cares about our daughter’s speech progression. On the way to every session our daughter gets so excited to see and play with Brenna. At the end of each session it’s hard for her to part ways. It’s undoubtedly her most favorite activity each week. When she initially started in 2022 she wasn’t speaking at all. Now her speech has truly excelled in ways we couldn’t ever imagine. I can’t wait to see even more progress over this new year!

My daughter’s last session is today! She has been seeing Brenna for almost a year. My daughter has improved in her speech so much compared to when she first came here! Thank you Brenna for working with her and making it fun.

We were very pleased with the speech services that my child received from Bethany Lemak. She was very kind and kept him engaged by using various games. We were able to see great progress with the goals he was working on.

We saw both Brenna and Bethany while at strides speech and we couldn’t recommend the practice enough! It was fun and engaging for my son and everyone always loved seeing him. He made a lot of improvement and we will miss the practice having moved out of state.

Brenna has been great with our daughter the last several times working to get her out of her bubble. Brenna is very patient and adaptive trying to address potential speech issues.
