As a worker, you will be extremely underpaid and overworked. They charge $10,000 per month for each client, but BTs and RBTs are paid well below the state average ($16-18) even though they are the ones working directly with the child most of the time. The fact that it is a franchise should in and of itself be a red flag. Opt for a local BCBA-owned clinic, Children's Specialized ABA, or DIR floortime therapy. Coworkers are amazing, management is okay. They use some outdated ABA practices and are not child-led or neuro-affirming in their approach. There is no autonomy and self-advocacy being taught. Look up contemporary research on ABA and you will see that this is incredibly damaging. The use of these harmful ABA practices may show immediate results due to masking and suppression (which makes parents think their child is doing great), but it can give children severe issues long-term (such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem etc.). Children are blocked from stimming if it's during a scheduled activity (but not given the time to regulate before or after), forced to make eye contact, ignored when they cry (crying is almost always seen as an unreasonable tantrum, never overwhelm or sensory overload). Children are not even provided noise canceling headphones, which is SUCH a basic necessity in ABA now. They are also forced to verbally request things and just pointing is not honored (ask any SLP why that is harmful and they’ll tell you). Their approach is not play-based, so it's application to the real-world may be limited. Newer ABA places have transitioned to less than 40-hours and play-based or child-led approaches.

New Jersey - They use quite outdated ABA practices and are not even remotely child-led in their approach. There is no autonomy and self-advocacy being taught, children are just being dragged from one place to another if they don't follow the demand. Look up ANY contemporary research on ABA and you will see that this is incredibly damaging. The use of these harmful ABA practices may show immediate results due to masking and suppression (which makes parents think their child is doing better), but it can give children severe issues long-term (such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem etc.). I would not recommend sending a kid here. We are very grateful to have found Success On The Spectrum and so glad our son is in their program. He’s learning more and more every day and making great strides. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and communicative. Highly recommend!

My son has been receiving ABA therapy at SOS for about 9 months now, and we've seen a lot of progress! The staff clearly love and care about him, and they've all been pleasant to talk to. Any issues that arise are handled quickly, and the monthly parent meetings show that they really care about every aspect of your child's therapy. Definitely recommend!

We have had a very pleasant experience with SOS. Our child has shown a lot of progress with communication and socialization through the ABA support programs available at Success on the Spectrum Lancaster. Would highly recommend this to other families looking for assistance for children with ASD!

I would give zero stars if I could My experience with Success on the Spectrum was shockingly bad. I walked in hoping for professionalism, structure, and real support, and instead I got chaos, confusion, and a level of indifference that was honestly unbelievable. Communication was a nightmare, the atmosphere felt completely unorganized, and nothing about the place inspired confidence.I left every interaction feeling frustrated and ignored. In my opinion, this place is absolutely not worth your time, money, or trust. There are far better options out there anywhere else will likely treat you with more consistency, clarity, and basic respect. If you’re considering this place, run in the opposite direction. I wish someone had warned me beforehand.

Highly recommend SOS on paradise! My daughter is 5, high support needs/level 3, and non-speaking. This was her first in-center experience and she has been hooked ever since. Her growth has been amazing and emotional in the best way. As a parent, the star of the center is a clean, welcoming lobby that showcases two giant TV’s where you can sit and watch the cameras all day if you wanted to. For children, the center of the facility has this AMAZING playground and multiple state of the art interactive activities surrounding it. I fear S.O.S. has set a standard that other facilities won’t be able to live up to easily when we have to move due to inevitable military orders 🥲💖

So happy I found this place! My kiddo loves it here and I love it! The staff here is so attentive and friendly. My son’s last ABA center’s (Behavioral Innovations) turnover rate was becoming high and making me uncomfortable plus it was creating many new odd behaviors for him. It took some warming up to this change of scenery for him but he seems happier now. I love that he does arts and crafts & little activities that he would normally do in a school setting too. They even provide you with a handout that each therapist fills out about their session so you know how your child’s day was. Finding a good center for your nonverbal child is so stressful but this place gives me peace of mind knowing my kiddo is in good hands every day. 🖤

Tanya(owner / bcba) along with her team at SOS are amazing! They truly care about each kiddo and provide personalized ABA support. My child has made great progress, and the cameras in all general areas give unbeatable peace of mind. Highly recommend!

My son, James was diagnosed with Autism at 2. I immediately started my research and found SOS. & I am so grateful that I did. I couldn’t think of a better place to send my son. From the owner, to the BCBA & RBTS & the amazing office manager, Ana- everyone is so kind & passionate about what they do. They have no idea how much they’ve helped us already in such a short amount of time! Beautiful place. Clean & organized. Cant say enough good things about SOS.❤️
