The BCBA was very dismissive and rude to me which as a parent with serious concerns about my child's well being, I should never feel worried about bringing up a concern. My son got hurt and she tried to say she didnt see it happen, doesn't know what happened, after I called her out on the fact that my son said it happened at their clinic, (she was relying on his partially verbal self to not tell me), later "remembered" that it did happen plus "oh I also just remembered he also collided heads with another kid". She would promise things to my son and then not deliver which caused massive trust issues. I brought my concerns to the director and requested certain measures be implemented to ensure my son's well being which she dragged out and never did. We ended up leaving. Very dissapointed in swank!
My experience with Swank ESD has been amazing. They have helped in so many ways. All of the staff have provided me with support in all aspects of making sure my little guy has everything he needs to be successful. He has surpassed my expectations in his ability to effectively let me know his needs. My little guy loves going there and actually wants to go on weekends and he has a hard time understanding why no one is there on weekends 😂. I have recommended Swank ESD to anyone who mentions they are looking for services.
