We love the therapists at Synapse! Katie V. Is almost more excited than we are when our little guy, Jack, makes progress:) Jack is so excited to go to speech each week, and he has come so far since starting at Synapse when he was 3. Jack was not able to speak words that we could understand 2 years ago; last month his school gave us a report that put him at 94% intelligibility. He’s been participating in social skills groups, too, to learn how to use his words to build friendships and participate fully in games and interactions with other kids. Love everything about this place!

I can’t recommend Katie & Synapse highly enough. From our very first session, they made my child feel comfortable and confident. Their expertise and gentle encouragement have led to amazing progress—even challenging sounds are now effortless. Sessions are always engaging, well-structured, and tailored to individual needs. If you’re looking for a caring, skilled professional who truly listens and delivers results, Katie is the one. We love our “speech”.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Colleen, who genuinely understands how children learn (through play) and makes learning new and tough things fun. We have enjoyed our time at Synapse and would recommend it to other families.

The good therapists at this clinic either left in the last year or are booked solid. The newer therapists don't warrant the 5 star rating.

The best speech clinic in the Chicago area, hands down. The staff is the most professional, caring and fun we ever encountered. We were desperately looking for a Speech therapist that could work in Spanish and had the best of luck crossing paths with Katie. Her work with our son was amazing, our kid thrived with her and he’s always super happy to go to his sessions!

My now 2+ year old started with Emma Williams 8 months ago and we couldn’t be happier! Emma is the most patient person we know and our son looks forward to seeing her every week. “Emma” was one of the few words he started saying when we began working with her. The clinic is welcoming, adorable and fosters all the needs of my emerging talker. They are incredibly responsive, easy to work with and will give you the honest feedback you need as a parent. We love Synapse!

Our experience with Synapse Pediatric Therapy was incredible!! Our family will forever be grateful for how much time was spent really understanding our child and their needs. From the intake, assessment and treatment, I felt heard and validated and could see my child’s growth week after week. Beth is a fabulous SLP who helped our child in so many ways! Highly recommended!
