If mealtimes are stressful and you are have to negotiate every bite of food with your toddler, I highly recommend reaching out to Alisa and Jill. We had our initial consultation with Alisa and our in home sessions with Jill - both were so knowledgeable and personable. Our toddler is very low weight and mealtimes were an extremely stressful experience, but Jill quickly turned that around after just a few in home sessions. She gave us helpful tips that have completely transformed our approach to feeding and our son’s relationship with food, while also balancing our priority to improve his weight gain. He did not gain a bunch of weight overnight, but after less than a month of feeding therapy, he now enjoys meal times, feeds himself and has a curiosity for food. With a healthy relationship to food now, the weight gain should happen overtime. Jill and Alisa were also always very responsive by text or email to answer any questions I had. They are amazing and we are so grateful for all their help
Alisa is amazing! I had a consult with her recently and she was thoughtful, listened closely and was really supportive. She heard my concerns and met me with a thoughtful plan that led my daughter to great success. She clearly cares deeply about helping kids and supporting parents. Even if you’re unsure of your child needs support, I would highly recommend getting a consult with Alisa because she will help deepen your understanding of typical development and empower you to make the right decision for you and your family!
We can’t thank Table Talk (Alisa and Jill) enough. Nico is growing into such a happy confident boy, helping him find his words has been the best gift, and a total game changer. Our suspicions about his shyness and its connection to his speech was correct. When we first started working with Jill, we would get videos from his nursery school watching all of the other children jumping, singing, and participating, while Nico was often sitting on the outside or clinging to teacher while he watched the others play. NOW we get reports and videos of Nico being the first one to dance, hugging and playing with friends, and being open and brave enough to try new things. Jill has been instrumental in guiding Nico and us as new parents. As a family we will all miss Jill, especially Nico:) His world has completely opened up and we are so grateful.
Alisa is INCREDIBLE! Alisa is truly a knowledgeable and compassionate expert this field. She really took the time to understand the root cause rather than offering a quick fix, and her individualized, holistic approach made me feel heard and not alone. After speaking with Alisa, I left with very helpful insights and clear next steps (and less anxiety!). HIGHLY recommend to anyone navigating pediatric feeding challenges!
Alisa helped us completely turn around meal times for the better! With her support, meals are no longer stressful and are instead are times we and baby can all enjoy.
