TalkBack Pediatric Therapy

Kaley Richards did an amazing job evaluating my little boy. He is 5 years old and was recommended a diagnosis of Autism at the end of his evaluation. She made the whole experience comfortable, informative and even my little boy enjoyed it. She pointed out things I never realized were considered under the autism umbrella and listened thoroughly to my concerns. I don’t even know how to explain how great on an experience it was. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to have him evaluated but now I have no regrets, assurance in our decision to go forward with it, and encouragement from both Kaley and our doctor about how amazing our kid is and the potential for his future. (Which we have always been confident in. It’s just so encouraging for others to see it too.) Thank you so much for everything you do at TalkBack.

We see Haven here for speech therapy. She is apsalutly amazing! So sweet and patient. My son has gone from barley speaking to trying to group words and make sentences. Communication has been amazing, and my son genuinely looks forward to speech and lights up when he sees his therapist.

My son saw Miss Leanne & Miss Tayla for his speech therapy. They were both so amazing with him. They figured out he had Gestalt Language Processing and worked on helping him use his own words. He began progressing within a 2 weeks of therapy. I am very thankful for them and answering any questions I had regarding how I could help son from home.

We have been seeing Daniel for the last year and we are very happy with the growth we've seen in our son. We would highly recommend TalkBack!

Absolutely the best decision of my life was taking my son here. Just a few years ago he was completely non verbal and now he can ask for thing and understand what is asked. They do such an amazing job with littles and actually care about their growth and development. Im so happy with the amount of care and patience they've shown us and all the help they have given us. This is the BEST place to help with kids development and learning. I will forever be grateful for them and all they do.

I feel as if in the last year my child has not received adequate therapy due to multiple changes in therapist per talkbacks scheduling. I also feel that my daughter has became stagnant in her growth with talk back. She has grown a lot verbally in the since August of this year but I feel that is due to her school setting. She has had numerous changes to her therapist. Each time she has had to have a new therapist she has to start completely over again, pairing and building a connection from scratch. I also feel that she has been shorted on her time in the sessions. Many times, the therapist comes out late to get her and still brings her out early. I am a therapist myself, and I can not bill insurance for a session of 30 minutes if I am only with a child for 20 minutes. I know things happen at times, but this has been an issue that has been increasing throughout the last year. Third and final reasoning is that I was told that her having previous appointments in another city that is 4 hours away in one direction is not excused even though it was advised weeks ahead of time. I was told that insurance would not allow that to be considered an excused missed session. I again work as a therapist, and I know that all insurances differ in policies, but I checked with her insurance company, and they advised this was inaccurate information provided to me. They advised that it was per your company decision while they do require progress to be shown from the therapy, a missed session is not part of their determination. Therefore I feel I can not trust the billing processes nor the integrity of Talk Back Pediatric Therapy going forward. The first 2 years were amazing but in the past year they have went down hill very fast.

5 stars solely for Rachel the speech therapist. My son has been seeing her for months and he is showing significant progress and great progress on his behavior, confidence, and ability to see the difference in how he pronounces sounds. She is really good with him and he really loves her. My oldest used to also see Dyan for OT and he is really wonderful as well. Patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend Rachel and Dylan 10/10.

My son Alaric has therapies with both Cami and Kayla, and he has made huge leaps and bounds with speech and motor skills. They are always so loving with him, and Alaric absolutely adores them both. He asks every week is it time for therapy, which makes me truly love his therapist that they take the time and have a relationship with him. I can never repay them for how they have helped my son and also myself. You both truly are angels and we are so grateful for you both.
