Our family will be forever grateful to Crystal at Talking Time for the incredible work she has done with our son. Crystal didn’t just help him improve his speech—she truly helped him find his voice. Our son has a rare speech disorder that required the expertise of a specialist, and we were so fortunate to find Crystal, one of only a few therapists within 50 miles equipped to meet his needs. Her approach was warm, engaging, and tailored to his unique challenges, making every session both productive and enjoyable. Crystal's expertise and patience were evident from the start, as she guided him (and is) through each milestone with encouragement and creativity. She celebrated every achievement, big or small, and gave us as parents the tools and confidence to support his progress at home. Thanks to Crystal, we’ve witnessed our unlock not only his speech but also his confidence, and it has been nothing short of life-changing. We can’t recommend her and Talking Time enough for any family seeking compassionate, specialized speech therapy. Thank you, Crystal, for helping our son thrive!
Our family loves Talking Time, the owner, and the therapists we've had the opportunity to work with there. My now 7yo daughter had a speech delay and attended Talking Time for 2 years where she grew tremendously! The front office is wonderful, and they go out of their way to help you, and your family. Highly recommend, we absolutely love it here.
5 stars just doesn’t even seem close to being enough to show the love and respect and appreciation we have for Talking Time Learning Center. We had been fighting and searching for therapies for our sweet girl for over 6 months throughout so many different counties just desperate to get help. When we got into contact with Crystal and she heard our story, she was beyond caring, professional, and helpful. She was amazing at helping us figure out the steps we needed to take to get everything in order and get the help we had been searching for right away. I would just love to scream from the rooftops all the love and praise we have for Meg (PT) and Jane (OT). They’re beyond knowledgable, skilled, and experienced and they CARE so so much. They literally put so much love into what they do and it shows. We have been in therapies for about 7 weeks now and we couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve seen and are so excited to see what else is to come. Talking Time Learning Center truly is life-changing and we will forever be grateful for each and every one of them!
My son began receiving speech services through the First Steps program at Talking Time Learning Center 3 years ago. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect, but could immediately sense a high level of professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Once my son was too old to receive First Steps services he began seeing Crystal one-on-one at the office. She has worked with my son for 2 years. Crystal has been so kind and patient. She has a wealth of knowledge and was very supportive as we navigated my son's speech issues. Through working with Crystal, not only has his speech greatly improved, but he has been equipped with important skills such as asking for help and social/conversational tools. When he began kindergarten this year she ensured that he had the necessary resources moving forward since he was ready to graduate from private speech therapy. I also can't forget to mention Donna! Donna at the front desk is just delightful and she was also very responsive to any billing/fee concerns or questions. I would highly recommend Talking Time Learning Center and Crystal Scott to anyone in my life that needs speech services. You are in good hands. Thank you!!!
Did not have a good experience with Crystal
Three of my kids received First Steps services through Talking Time providers during their early years and now Crystal sees my youngest for weekly speech since she's graduated from First Steps. We have had a great experience with all of our therapists and Crystal most recently. She gives ideas of what I can do at home, makes sessions engaging for my daughter, and regularly is telling me about continuing ed things she's doing to keep learning about my daughter's specific speech disorder and how to help her the best. I so appreciate that!
