Temple Memorial Pediatric Center

I would have loved to give a full 5-star review because this facility truly has amazing staff. From the very first point of contact to Ms. Lori (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly), who evaluated my daughter with so much kindness and patience, everyone has been wonderful. She was so sweet and made the process feel safe and reassuring. The only reason I cannot give a complete 5 star is because of my experience with Ms. Tonya Satterfield, the intake coordinator. When I first walked in, there was some confusion regarding my insurance coverage. While I tried to clarify by offering the NPI number given to me by my insurance, Ms. Satterfield approached me in a way that felt unwelcoming. Instead of a simple greeting and/or introduction, I was met with a silent ‘dead stare’ and questioning head gestures, like ‘what do you want’ which left me confused and uncomfortable. Like ‘ma’am it’s my daughter that needs speech therapy, I can hear and I can speak. I know I have an accent but I do speak fluent English and have full understanding of the language. Is there something about my appearance that makes you think I do not deserve a greeting or an introduction?’ It wasn’t until I explained that I was willing to pay out of pocket that her demeanor softened and she smiled. While I’m relieved that things were eventually clarified, the initial interaction felt unnecessarily harsh, especially in a pediatric setting where warmth and empathy mean so much to parents already under stress. That said, Temple Pediatric Medical Center is a great facility overall, with excellent therapists and supportive staff. My only wish is that every interaction, from start to finish, reflected the same kindness and professionalism that Ms. Lori and others showed us.

My daughter has been going to Temple for 7 years. From the time you walk in the door, you are met with friendly and helpful staff. The progress my daughter has made in PT, OT, and Speech has been amazing!

Best pediatric clinic with very knowledgeable therapists & friendly staff!!

TMPC is an incredible outpatient clinic! All therapists (OT, PT, speech, ABA) are knowledgeable and dedicated to helping their patients make progress!

My granddaughter has done OT, PT and Speech here for years and love it!!

Temple has passionate therapists and staff who are focused on helping your child improve each day!

I love seeing the kids smiling faces every day and it’s a wonderful place for therapy we have an amazing team here for all therapies

My daughter loves this place & so Do I. She graduated recently and sadly she miss her lol. They made her reach her goals majority of the way. Everybody friendly, and clean environment. They are also working with my son with tort(therapy) and I'm so thankful for that, without them telling me about his tie tongue he would still have it. Luckily I was able to get his surgery and things are wonderful now with him latching. Appreciate all the help y'all are doing for my son now & also helping my daughter ☺️ Highly recommend
