My experience with Tender Care ABA started very positively. The first person I spoke with, Jacob, was helpful, understanding, and took the time to explain options I didn’t know existed, including therapy support within daycare settings. At that point, I was navigating a new autism diagnosis for my son and trying to find the right balance between childcare, therapy, and work, so that initial support meant a lot. Finding daycare and support after my son’s diagnosis has been extremely challenging. Several daycares were unwilling to even meet him once they heard he had autism, and others made it clear they did not feel equipped to work with him. As a single parent navigating this on my own, finally feeling like I had the possibility of a support system in place was very important to me. Due to changes in my circumstances, including work scheduling and transportation issues, I was not yet able to begin services and made this clear throughout communication. I kept the director informed and expressed that I planned to reconnect once things were more stable on my end. About a week prior to receiving the final email, we spoke to check in on whether my situation had changed, and I explained that it had not and that I was still working toward being able to start services. What became difficult for me was how communication ended. Instead of a phone conversation or discussion about possible next steps or future options, I received an email stating that services could no longer move forward, along with a list of other providers. While I understand that companies have policies and timelines, the communication felt abrupt and dismissive given the prior ongoing contact and my situation. I’m sharing this so other parents know to ask detailed questions upfront about communication expectations, timelines, and what happens if circumstances temporarily change. Navigating autism services can already be challenging, and clarity around these areas can make a big difference for families.

This company was the best choice I've ever made for my kids! (And sadly, I've been through a few.) They're always learning and growing so fast. I have two children under their teams care, and they've improved so much! My daughter is more verbal and able to identify so many more things academically and socially. My son, who had aggressive behaviors hasn't had a serious issue for over 4 months! This company cares about your kids, their needs, as well as the families needs. They have excellent communication, and work with me with any issues or concerns and really try to make sure everyone involved is comfortable with any plans for the child. They also are focused on consistency. So, if a technician is unable to be there, they'll send a substitute for that day or time period. They offer in home, community, childcare and school ABA. The best part is seeing my children thrive and have more control over their stress.

Tender Care ABA has done miracles on my boy in the last year. Great communication,team work and the loyalty givin to the Child is irreplaceable. Thanks so much for the team work and care for my boy.

I had a very horrible experience experience with tender care and I am extremely disappointed! Not only did we wait months for insurance authorization, it’s only been 2 weeks and we’ve already seen 3 therapist because nobody is consistent, coming in late, leaving early or just not coming at all! Expressed my concerns and showed as much grace as I could, you cannot do this to vulnerable children who rely on consistency and routine. I am discharging from the company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, if you had a good experience I’m happy for you but our experience was horrible
