When our kiddo was almost 3, we had been on three different waitlists for months, hoping to get an autism evaluation. It was a scary and uncertain time for us. On a whim, I called the autism clinic just to ask about getting speech therapy while we waited for a diagnosis. That call turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Not only did they get us in for a diagnosis within a week, but they also helped make autism feel less scary—for all of us. We will never be able to thank the autism clinic at Hope enough.
Beware!! My daughter attended this location for about a month. She is fully potty trained and had no problems at her previous ABA provider. She began experiencing accidents a week after starting. I tried to open an authorization for another assessment with another provider to get a second opinion on some concerns. This location discharged her because I asked that they allow for her to have a secondary assessment. Sad. No respect for client autonomy and a very disgraceful backend authorization team and c suite team. Hannah the center BCBA is nice. She will grow into her voice to be a better advocate but she has the right intentions it appears. They have a two solid techs. Otherwise it's all a hit and miss. Find a better place if you can!!
My daughter been going here for 3 months and she is progressing quickly. We still have a while to go but I know a year from now she will be way ahead. They also helped me with potty training, I'm so happy she is fully potty-trained now thanks them. They are the best!!
My daughter attended this location for approximately 6 months while awaiting an opening at the location on my way to work. I was very impressed by the care that my daughter received. The comprehensive program through ABA therapy helped my non-verbal daughter make great strides in a variety of skills / milestone goals and, most importantly for our family, communication. While the formal communication training uses PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), the other elements of the therapy helped her to make progress in pre-speech / alternative communication targets, such as imitation, motor skills, identifying items, and requesting items. The staff was extremely professional, highly structured, and very patient.
