The Behavior Place, Washington

I worked for The Behavior Place, for a very short time, seemingly not the first of their victims-allow me to explain but first let me say that this is the kind of place that jokes during administrative meetings that they cannot keep track of clinical employee's names due to the high turnover rate...the very people working hands-on with your children and they are making light of it in a meeting. This is the kind of place that tasks me with contacting all of the families on the waiting list for 2024/25 to see if they want to maintain their place on the list and telling them that their time has started over, while prioritizing those that were placed on the list in the last 6months, to a year-meaning if you do not get in with them within a certain amount of time, they do not care how long you have been waiting. It is very self-serving. They hired me for a remote position and did not give me enough to do each day, and I continually asked for more, though they wanted me to write down everything I did, even if I picked up a call and it disconnected (never felt so mistrusted in a position in my life and they openly discussed with me the prior employees, in my position, and how they could not be trusted, so they take that out on all future employees) So, you want me to quantify how I am spending my time but not give me enough to do? Evidently, they did this to the last girl that held my very position, and I found that out when the unemployment department of Washington state reached out stating that the employee stated that she did not have enough to do. They do not trust their employees, and they have very bad morale. They offer low pay and just enough hours to prevent you from receiving benefits. They are a me mentality self-serving employer, who is constantly hiring new people due to a high turnover rate. That means most of the time your children are being entrusted with those in training.

We are so grateful for everything Jordan has done for our son, Edward, over the years. Jordan has been a steady, supportive, and kind presence in his life — always advocating for him and helping him grow. The connection they built meant so much to all of us, and I’m personally thankful for the guidance Jordan provided me as a parent on this journey. Edward always lit up when he saw Jordan, and it’s clear how much he’s learned and grown with Jordan’s support. While our time together ended sooner than we hoped due to insurance changes, the impact Jordan (and the entire team at The Behavior Place) had will stay with him — and with us — for years to come. Thank you, Jordan, Stacey, Sandra, Bailey, and everyone else who has been a part of Edward’s journey. Your patience, encouragement, and genuine care have meant the world to our family.

Thorough and thoughtful…. we’ve seen an amazing improvement with our kid. Highly recommend.
