Awesome place in getting your life back on track. Just got to want it for yourself !
My child has struggled with mental health issues for a few years and has visited CCBH several times for acute care. The staff has always been wonderful and kind to them and they absolutely loves " Mama Dee". Ashley, one of the therapists on the youth wing is the best, she discusses everything with you and makes sure you understand what is going on and what will happen next. Dr. Hayes has been invaluable in helping us find the right medications and dosing. I am so very thankful we are so close to such a wonderful center.
These people do not care about people with mental illness they are unorganized and rude over the phone I called today because Dr.Johnson has been approving my daughter meds since she left the facility and all of sudden stopped responding to the Pharmacy I called and the lady that answered acted as if I was making it up! I find it very disrespectful how unprofessional she was needless to say I didn't get anywhere with this unorganized place they need do better with training! I pray that God help people that are going through these situations and I pray the staff does better and learn how to be human and realize that life may take them down this same road so they need to be careful of how they treat others
This facility has changed my life for the better! I wish I’d known about them sooner. The staff is incredible—they’re so kind, understanding and helpful. The food is good (In fact, I was surprised at just how good it was)! The beds were comfortable enough, but make sure you bring a sweater if you’re doing inpatient care (your roomy might like it cold; the sweater can also double as a sleep mask lol). Other than that, just know that if you work with them, they will absolutely work with you. And, if you don’t work with them, they’ll still work with you… You just won’t get as much as you could have 🫶 BY THE WAY, IF YOU’RE READING THIS, DO NOT GO TO THREE RIVERS (a different hospital in the area).
I don't normally leave reviews but this is one of those times I feel I need to. The way I was treated and saw people get treated was unacceptable, the staff was incredibly rude one of the staff threated to beat a girl and the security officers dismissed everyone trying to report her, his excuse being "respect is given". They roomed me with someone that I was uncomfortable being around as a punishment for being to loud even though there were other rooms they could put me in and when I told the staff I couldn't sleep and I was having a panic attack cause I was uncomfortable they told me they simply didn't care about my triggers, a nurse also told me if I had to use the bathroom so bad to pee on the floor cause I told her I couldn't hold it anymore. I heard a nightshift nurse named Rebecca told a kid to kill herself and when she told staff they told her neither of them should be provoking eachother and blamed it on her. I also had fresh stitches when i came in its a miracle they didnt get infected cause the only medical care I got was the nurse wrapping my arm the first time with latex even though I told her I was allergic, then when I came back with a rash she used tape laxtex without latex. I have so many stories about this place but this is just off the top of my head, to put it simply the only good thing about my stay was the group and the other patients its ridiculous this place legal and running.
So I followed through with the discharge plan they set me up with here to "saving grace" and turns out the Sophia lady that runs it that this center discarged me to was a very angry rude individual that turns out I was not able to stay with to continue my mental health recovery and because of that I am back to square 1. so I do wish that Ramon or angel someone address this situation. that the person they discharged me to was a very angry and instable women that did not like the carolina center not sending me with a filled out application for her place or sending me out earlier in the day to her and she took those frustrations out on me and my mother and pushed me away from getting the help that I need...
this place saved my life in 2024, went for detox from heavy synthetic opioid use. They really cared about my treatment and even helped me get into a rehab facility following my stay. I’m extremely thankful to the staff and nurses there to help, and for me on comfort meds within the first hour of entering. I’m now thriving and clean for two years.
Y'all literally saved my best friend’s life so thank you. I’m so grateful she’s still here!!
