I had a very frustrating experience with The CORE Project. Over the course of approximately three months, I was repeatedly told that my child would be scheduled for speech therapy “within two weeks.” Each time I followed up, I was given the same response, but no appointment was ever scheduled and no clear explanation was provided. Early intervention is time-sensitive, and the lack of transparency and follow-through caused unnecessary stress and delays for my family. Ultimately, I had to seek services elsewhere to get my child the support she needed. I hope the organization improves its communication and scheduling process so other families do not experience the same prolonged run-around.
