My first horrible experience here was with dermatology. Having been referred for what seemed like sudden adult onset of eczema solely on my eyelids, I was suffering for weeks leading up to my appointment and came in with so much hope. The doctor was cold and unhelpful and basically told me a could experiment to try to figure out what was allergic too, take long term steroids with horrible side effects, or be referred to OHSU for allergy testing where I would have to stay in Portland for at least a week to undergo the tests. I chose to be referred. I waited two months, knowing OHSU can take some time to schedule. After two months I called the dermatologist and they admitted they somehow forgot to complete the referral. Do not recommend dermatology here. Neurology will refuse to see you if you are more than SEVEN minutes late. I am a human with a job and try my best to attend appointments on time. I walked in 8 minutes late. The receptionist told me I was 10 minutes late. I corrected her about the time immediately. She then walked back to check with someone and came back to inform me that since it was over seven minutes past they could not see me. This is insane. She was snide and offered to reschedule me. She took extra time to check, why not let me start the appointment? A difference of a minute or two? The time it would have taken to reschedule me and then walk back out to the car I could have had this appointment, so I decided to ask to be referred elsewhere. The Corvallis clinic is genuinely driving me to go to Samaritan. Almost every experience I’ve had with the Corvallis clinic has been bad.

Don't be not even 10 min late for an appt they won't see you. No valid excuse works. Doctors make you sit in waiting room forever but when unforeseen events happen and you're a few minutes late - sorry for you.

I’ve been going to the Corvallis Clinic for my eye exams since 1976 and have always had a great experience. From the staff at the front desk to the technician and doctor, everyone is very professional and caring and easy to talk to. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, you will be impressed!

I went in for a second opinion on a diagnosis. Dr. Richard was able to examine my vision with advanced equipment and knowledge. He explained that the first diagnosis I had received was incorrect and he showed me why. I appreciated his kindness and his ease in both listening and explaining my situation. I was impressed and will highly recommend him.

Absolutely horrible experience. Went in with my eyes so red and swollen I could barely see. The doctor said I have no idea what this is and you might just have to accept this as your new normal. He is very arrogant and speaks mostly about himself during your appointment. Total waste of a $160. I had even taken pictures of my eyes every day for almost 2 weeks so he could see what I had been through. I went to the hospital the next day and was diagnosed almost immediately. Don't waste your money or your time just go directly to urgent care or an ophthalmologist elsewhere.

I am a new patient to the Corvallis Clinic Dermatology unit. My first appointment was great. However, if you want to get a hold of them for follow up questions - or really anything - do not expect them to answer their phones. I have been on hold for 2 hours now and I have not even been acknowledged yet.
