Dr. Gayle and her team were incredibly accommodating and even offered me a weekend appointment to fit around my work schedule. More importantly, they were genuinely kind and compassionate. As an adult seeking testing, it can be difficult to find practitioners who are patient and understanding, but Dr. Gayle and her team were different. They took me seriously from the start, and now, six months post-diagnosis, I finally feel like I’m making real progress in reclaiming my life
The FLOAAT Center is outstanding! From the first contact, you’re met with kindness and professionalism. Dr. Gayle and the clinicians are compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough, taking the time to understand each client’s unique needs. Their expertise in diagnosing and treating autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and more is exceptional, making them a trusted resource for children, adolescents, and adults. They create a comfortable, supportive environment that makes seeking answers much easier. I highly recommend the FLOAAT Center for anyone seeking excellent care or considering joining their dedicated team!
It is a pleasure working with and for Dr. Gayle. She strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and professional care to each and every client that seeks her services through FLOAAT.
I highly recommend Dr. Lipari for testing, and Dr. Gayle for OCD treatment in neurodiverse adults and children!
Dr. Gayle is a professional and very courteous with patient care. She understands my needs and assessment for therapy. Highly recommend!
Dr. Cindi Gayle provides an invaluable service and I have been more than pleased with her. She is very well regarded by other psychologists in the area for her expertise in ASD: particularly by those I have met at CARD and UF Health. When I asked for recommendations after my first screening concluded, she was the first and only name that came to mind from a receptionist at CARD. Dr. Jessica Payne-Murphy also endorsed her as being an excellent psychologist. Gainesville as a region is severely limited in its capacity to provide ASD evaluations from what I have observed firsthand. The wait time to be screened by a resident psychologist through UF Health was quoted to me as 9 months from my referral. Other independent providers said they would not even offer the test due to lack of financial incentive. I was offered the service in a reasonable timeframe along with pre and follow up sessions for half the cost that many other providers charge for the service alone. After having my first real experience in dealing with insurance companies and their various codes and bureaucracies myself for multiple hours over the course of nearly two weeks while pursuing a professional in network to perform the screening: I understood why their practice made the firm and rational decision not to deal with them. To offer such a good value for compassionate professionalism and expertise despite that, is nothing short of heroic. Dr. Gayle strikes me as a selfless and humble professional who along with her team at the FLOAAT Center is providing an outsize positive influence to the community and I am happy to have made her acquaintance.
