Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Hope center is one of the best centers in Slidell. They got my son potty trained after years of me trying to do on my own. If you can get into this place I highly recommend it.
Our daughter has been going to the Hope Center since 2021 (3 years now) and our son just started with them (a little bit over a month ago) we highly recommend them. They are like a second family. They work relentlessly with love, patience, understanding, and compassion, focusing on our children's needs. The Hope Center helped our daughter get potty trained, accept a brush being put to her hair and teeth (she has sensory issues). Nowadays, she performs all these tasks (and other ADLs) without resistance. The Hope Center has also helped teach our children social skills (putting hands on mouth when coughing, "my turn, your turn," etc) while collaborating with us and respecting our children's unique characteristics and challenges. Our son started with them 7 weeks ago and I can already see progress. He has started to feed himself with a spoon! He used to fight when he would see us with a spoon. When trying to feed him, he would turn his head around to avoid taking bites. He has also started to respond to his name and become more engaged with us. In addition, he has been copying motor movement, like clapping his hands (our son is 25 months). The Hope Center advocates for our children. I am so glad to have them together with our daughter at school also. Our daughter goes to school two days per week and an ABA therapist is there helping and collecting data that we use in the IEP meetings at school. They sit in these meetings with us and provide the support we need to ask for the things that our daughter needs. They also have the best and coolest events throughout the year like water day, halloween party, santa visit, and Christmas party. These people not only have the "know-how," but they care and do their job with love.
The people working here are very nice and seem truly dedicated to the children they serve. The facility itself is nice. It is much better on the inside than what it seems on the outside.
