The Real Work: Therapy for Kids, Teens, and Parents

As a local neuroinclusive and trauma-informed speech therapist I adore the work The Real Work is doing. I love having a pediatric mental health and OT clinic that aligns with my values as a therapist to refer my clients to. The Real Work is carving out a much needed affirming safe space for our neurodivergent youth and creating a community of local practitioners who are committed to paving new paths and new ways of connecting with a world that is still learning to be mindful of individual neurotypes.

The Real Work is our go-to referral for when families of autistic children are seeking mental health or OT support. A beautiful therapy center that feels like a safe haven for your kids. Clinicians are trained in holistic modalities that support your child's mental health from an inclusive perspective. Parents will feel it's a shared experience and collaboration in supporting their child's neurodivergence. Most importantly kids get to play, move and feel free to be themselves.

This clinic is an excellent place for play therapy. While I don’t currently have a child in the care of the providers here, I consistently recommend this clinic to friends seeking care for their own children. The amazing outcomes for children after play therapy, the creativity and use of the space, and the compassionate providers are all reasons I highly recommend The Real Work.
