Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
SPG is fantastic, their team is highly knowledgeable and incredibly caring for your child. We’ve had a great experience and they offer long hours to work with your schedule. We’ve especially love Corrine, she brings so much passion and excitement to each session and is so caring for my son. We can’t say enough about SPG!
This place is great. We found this place on line while looking for speech therapists. Getti g an appointment was easy and I feel that the staff is very knowledgeable. My child has worked with multiple therapists and each one has been grea. My child is cautious and very observant when it comes to new people and will make it clear when uncomfortable around you, but loves Khaila and Ana, they are amazing! Grateful we found this place. My baby's speech has grown working with this team and I appreciate their dedication.
Khaila works with my son and she is absolutely incredible! It is amazing as a mom of a special needs child, to find someone who truly cares and just knows exactly how to connect and help him. The whole staff is so friendly and supportive!
Extremely unprofessional ABA management. Turn over rate very high. You will wait a year for ABA services and then be placed with someone who is not right for your child. With little to no experience in the field and expected to be comfortable with very little communication. They will string you along to charge your insurance with meetings and evaluations as much as possible then tell you it’s not their fault they can’t find staff that fits the needs of your child. Good luck to anyone looking for ABA services and I suggest anyone choosing to use this place be ready to advocate for your special needs child the whole time they are here.
Just want to say how happy we have been with this group. My son has been going with them for well over 4 years now. They are an amazing group of teachers and staff. I decided to write a review because at my sons parent teacher conference for fourth grade the counselor was telling me about all the good habits he has when it comes to addressing his struggles and I was so happy to hear that it was all things he has been working hard at during his lessons. Thank you so much to all the teachers who have worked with my son. I will forever be grateful!
SPG has wonderful therapists. There's a reason they have great reviews from the students who do their observations there. That being said, they are poorly managed and inflexible with scheduling. If your insurance doesn't cover weekly visits or more, you can't attend on a consistent schedule unless you pay out of pocket for the additional visits. Their cancellation and substitute therapist policy claims to be for the child's benefit in having a consistent schedule. (I have this in writing.) However if you miss a visit for illness, you are expected to reschedule at another time with another therapist. The policies are contradictory. They are also not beneficial for children who do better working consistently with the same person. I also have several emails going back and forth with billing over miscommunications about our bill for out of pocket visits. They did not communicate with each other prior to contacting me. I was accused of not paying a bill I had never received. In short, the therapists are great but they are poorly managed. Their policies are not flexible enough for working parents if they don't have insurance coverage or out of pocket funds for weekly visits. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the therapists are lovely. Unfortunately, the policies here put profits above the needs of children.
SPGCT is a great place to do observation hours! They were so accommodating to my schedule and highly knowledgeable about the field. The speech pathologist I observed not only answered all of my questions but also provided valuable insights into day-to-day aspects of the job that had never crossed my mind. I learned so much about what goes into planning for every session and how much thought goes into each client’s individualized needs. Having the opportunity to see that put into practice was such an honor! The environment was so warm and welcoming, and every person I met while observing reflected that. It was easy to see how much genuine dedication and care goes into each and every client. It was a great experience, beyond just being able to observe! I would recommend SPGCT to any prospective students seeking observation hours and clients looking for the services they offer.
It was an honor to do my observation at SPCGT. Everyone was very nice .I received quick response from the first time I expressed my interest in doing my observations there till completion. I observed a very knowledgeable and compassionate speech pathologist and through that, has solidified my interest in the field.
I'm very happy and grateful to have done my observation hours at SPGCT. The staff were welcoming, kind, and willing to explain all aspects of their job. Any questions were welcomed, and they gave me amazing insight into my future as an OT. They've built a positive, comfortable, and respectful environment for the staff, and you can see how this translates into the care given to the patients. It's clear that patients are truly cared for and that this is a place children love to go to. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for observation hours or their services!
