We have been very happy with management and with both therapists that have worked with our child.

There are several reasons that we are appreciative for The Speech Space. When we were considering the practice, Megan, one of the heads, took time with my wife and me for separate conversations to engage and speak to details of the practice and our family's needs. We have sought Megan's input periodically while working week to week with Nadeen Rollins as our daughter's primary speech therapist. Nadeen is warm, caring, and smart, and she has established a warm rapport with our daughter. We are appreciative for the relationships and support of Speech Space providers.

We’ve been seeing Anya at The Speech Space for a little over a year. We have been so happy with her transparency and professionalism. Anya is great with young kids and is able to keep them engaged and happy during the entire session. After one of our daughters had been seeing Anya for about 6 months we moved our other daughter over from another practice to work with Anya. Anya is so knowledgeable and a great communicator. We are so pleased with the services we are receiving. She is truly a gifted provider!

My 7 yr old and I went here today. This place is a unit in a private apartment and not only did we wander around and wait for ten minutes before we saw an actual person, but our therapist was not there. There was a lady who informed me I could wait an additional 30 min to be seen by someone else. They assured me this other person would be a great therapist. I declined and left. I’m all about supporting women owned businesses and hate to write a bad review but what the actual hell. Is this an actual licensed and registered place for professionals? I have my doubts.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Speech Space. My daughter's speech therapist Rachel was a blessing. Rachel made the sessions fun and educational and my daughter was always excited to go and made such progress. The administrative team is also wonderful. They were compassionate and helpful in providing service during a stressful time.

Our family LOVES Rachel. Our son has been in speech therapy for expressive language delay since he was 20 months old. For the first seven months, he received treatment at a different practice where he made progress on certain foundational milestones but still had only a handful of words. Because of circumstances beyond our control, we needed to find a new practice, and having had the benefit of prior experience, we felt strongly about finding a therapist who would conduct in-person therapy sessions and would provide our son with tools to get him talking. The Speech Space came with a fabulous recommendation from a family friend, and after discussions about my son, they recommended that he work with Rachel. And we are so grateful they did. Mere hours after his first session with her, he said the word "mama" for the first time and my heart soared. In less than two months, he has become a regular chatterbox and copies new words he hears on an everyday basis. Rachel uses a play-based approach with our son but in a programmatic fashion that has gradually developed his sound and word vocabulary. She used cards as the foundational blocks to help him learn and prompt sounds. And she ends each session by drafting a summary of the lesson from the day and the plans for continued working at home. She encourages participation by caregivers in the lessons and makes time to discuss any concerns or questions that we may have. To say we have been overjoyed by our son's progress in such a short amount of time is an understatement. Because he can express himself, he's less frustrated and more confident in social settings and around other children and adults. Rachel has such a warm and encouraging manner in working with our son, and he absolutely loves going to his sessions with her.

We are so pleased with the Speech Space therapists! Monica is incredibly friendly and is always quick to answer any questions we may have. We have a special appreciation for our speech therapist, Anna, whom our toddler son connected with almost instantly. Anna is fantastic! She’s so kind, upbeat and patient with kids, and gives caretakers thoughtful feedback at every session. Our typically shy boy is so comfortable with Anna and in just a short time he’s made tremendous strides in his verbal speech ability. We are so proud of the what he’s accomplished and credit it to our ongoing work with the great team at the Speech Space. Would recommend for any parent seeking pediatric speech therapy without question.
