The TALK Team

We LOVE the TALK Team! Their front desk staff is always so welcoming. Scheduling is always very on top of it when I need to reschedule or make an apt. All of the therapists are so kind and always make us feel at home!

They almost never answer and when you manage to get someone to answer, they tell you they will return your call and they NEVER do so. If that's how they are when serving new clients, I can imagine that for follow-up it's better to look elsewhere.

Our family has been with The Talk Team for a little over 8 years. We have loved every SLP we have worked with over the years. Cannot say enough great things about Ms. Mandy and Ms. Sabrina. Both have been wonderful to collaborate with, they have been willing to work with school providers to ensure speech and language goals are aligned (when necessary), and they are both invested in seeing my children improve. Thank you both for helping our family and being a great parent partner.

Please read before choosing this place as your provider. 1. As a new patient you will start out with different therapists and appointment times. 2. Front desk is rude and doesn’t greet. 3. After my child was set with a reoccurring therapist and time, she cancels weekly so my child has seen a new therapist every week anyways. 4. The business itself is just trying to squeeze as many clients in as possible and doesn’t care about the improvement of the client. I have liked the 6+ therapists I’ve seen in the eight weeks there but it has not been helpful for my child. I am waiting to switch speech therapy providers and I should have done it long ago. It’s been an ugly mess with The Talk Team.

Speech therapists were great, but scheduling was HORRIBLE! I was never given a set slot as requested. I was bounced around between therapists and offered same day appointments which were not feasible with my work schedule. Then I was told by the scheduling coordinator that if I didn't book an appointment within 2 DAYS we would be dropped due to low attendance. BUT of course they didn't even have an appointment available. Attendance policy was never reviewed with me, I always gave the therapists updated availability but it wasn't communicated to the scheduler.

Speech therapy is great! No complaints but the girls up front definitely have their favorites! My son is never greeted but when other families walk in they are greeted immediately. They never say hello or bye when my son tells them. That’s my only complaint. Wish they would be equal with all kiddos.
