I saw Shelby Hendrickson: I had a disappointing experience with Shelby Hendrickson at The Therapy Center. In my opinion, she lacks the necessary expertise to administer and interpret mental health evaluations accurately. During my evaluation, it was evident that she was unfamiliar with the testing process, as she frequently referred to the instructions while administering the tests, which gave the impression of inexperience. Furthermore, I believe her approach was overly narrow, with a tendency to make highly inaccurate assumptions based solely on my responses to the pre-evaluation self-assessment. This approach left me feeling misunderstood and misrepresented. It also seemed that she did not adhere to the DSM-5 guidelines when interpreting the test results, which is critical for providing valid and reliable assessments. Overall, I felt that Shelby did not truly listen or provide meaningful insight based on the tests she administered. My experience has led me to question the validity of the evaluation, and I would not recommend her services for those seeking accurate mental health evaluations.

We were charged $1360 for a 1 hr pediatric physical therapy consult. Just be aware of this when scheduling, they are very expensive.

I was nervous when I started therapy but I knew I needed it. I will say that The Therapy Center is such an uplifting place. The therapists here take the time and have the patience to help you meet your goals in mental health and life. The staff here are also great. They know my name when I come in. They've really have set the bar high for other places when it comes to healthcare. I have loved my journey with The Therapy Center.

I'm in a worse mental state than I was when I tried to start treatment here. Make sure you get the address right and are never late, the receptionists are very rude.

Poor customer service from the receptionist, run around about who can and cannot do autistic and adhd testing and who is credentialed to cover certain ages AFTER I’ve drove an hour and a half out of my way. My son couldn’t see my son because they paired him with a person that doesn’t see kids younger than 5, so I took his appointment spot for my intake appointment so it wasn’t a complete wash, then after my appointment driving home, I receive a call from the therapy center because now, BCBS insurance won’t cover that visit because it was with an uncovered provider due to his lack of PhD credentials. Find somewhere else. Save your time and sanity. Currently having to search for another place to conduct this testing (because they don’t know where they could send me 🤔) even though we have been on the waitlist for this place since March.
