The Therapy Zone

I’ve worked with two counselors here over a period of time. They were both very nice and welcoming, but I didn’t feel the level of experience I really need for what I’m dealing with. Many of the counselors seem to be pre-licensed, and while I completely understand that everyone has to learn, I don’t feel comfortable being part of that learning process given the severity of my symptoms. I’m looking for a licensed, highly experienced professional who can provide the depth of support I need.

I’ve been helping my family navigate through a rough patch and naturally reached out to the therapy zone for help. Gianna R. has truly worked wonders with my niece and has helped her navigate through this time with care, patience, and understanding. We are beyond grateful for Gianna’s support and approach. I highly recommend the therapy zone!

Dr. Jamie is the best

I loved the therapist my child had for about a year. However, as my child grew older it seemed as thought she needed a change to reflect her own changes. I asked therapy zone- if there was another therapist there but instead, I was given a list of references, which was great, but I was hopping for something in the same place so that my daughter wasn’t exposed to another change or unfamiliarity. Once I learned that the references didn’t work for us, I asked for more help, and asked if we could continue therapy in the meantime—until something was established further. Therapy zone declined. They felt my daughter should instead- be discharged abruptly and remain without therapy, and wait until there was a solution. I disagreed feeling that she should continue until there was a proper continuation of treatment. Weeks went on as I was helpless to figure out how to guide my daughter (who already experienced years of difficulty maintaining and understanding relationships in her life). How was I to explain to her that her therapist (who she loved) would no longer be seeing her? Without a goodbye or proper discharge. Therapy zone was aware that she was in a state of deep depression and I was told they would get back to me. Over a month had passed since her last session (which we didn’t know would be her last) and I can now say I will never go back there. It is unethical and disgusting that her therapy just ended that way simply because I asked for more help. I was then told a supervisor would provide an assessment and therapy, —of which never took place. I did receive a email full of excuses. Despite these circumstances, i can honestly say the therapist my daughter had was amazing and caring, smart and compassionate- but the whole process of the way treatment is conducted by the facility itself, is absolutely horrendous. I can’t get over the fact that I said she needed more help, and instead they just stopped therapy.

The people at Therapy Zone are absolutely amazing. All staff have been extremely caring, professional, and beyond understanding! My son was struggling and ever since he started therapy with Ally he's a completely different kid! They built a schedule that works perfectly and they are extremely flexible which is so very important for my child because of his Autism. I owe so much to them!

My daughter has been going here for the past year 1/2 and we have had the best experience!!! Everyone from the front desk to the counselors are wonderful and compassionate!! My daughter has finally found a place where she connects with her counselor and is making so much progress. I’m so grateful for the staff at Therapy Zone and highly recommend this place if you are looking for an experienced and compassionate counselor.
