TheraCare

Our child has been receiving therapy services from TheraCare for years. Initially we saw Melanie for feeding therapy. As a speech therapist myself, I trusted the treatment approach that Melanie took with him. He was later dismissed from feeding therapy and continued (and still continues) to receive occupational therapy. He has had a few OTs but his current OT, Breanna, we have been with for quite some time. I adore her. She is fantastic with him. She works hard and comes up with really creative solutions. With COVID-19, she transitioned to teletherapy without missing a beat and we continue to use a teletherapy model with her which I LOVE. It is super interactive and empowering to me as a parent. All in all, we are so thankful for TheraCare and the therapists we have worked with there!!

TheraCare has been a wonderful place for two of my kiddos. I really love the set up of the facility that can treat many aspects of care of children who need it and integrate these needs across the spectrum of therapies. It's such a great asset to the region because many traditional doctor's and therapy offices work together in this way. Melanie is also a tremendous resource for diagnosing tongue ties and providing therapy surrounding the challenges that come along with them. All of the staff have been caring and helpful in treating my children and accommodating our needs as well. My daughter has done both speech therapy with Melanie and OT with Breanna. She has made great progress in both of these areas. My son has seen Ashten for speech and he has made huge strides in his speech for his age.

Ms. Lisa is a absolutely the best! She is so great with the clients and the clients really seem to like her. At the end of each therapy session her clients give her a hug to show their appreciation of her. Ms. Lisa has also gone above and beyond for her clients giving out resources to help them with their everyday lives. Allyson is the speech therapist and she’s so sweet and kind. Without their help the clients wouldn’t be where they are today. Everyone at the office is so warm welcoming and very polite. I highly recommend TheraCare. Thank you for everything you have done for the clients!

We started at TheraCare in August 2017 with speech, then added OT in February 2018. I have been so pleased with the professionalism of the staff, the friendly atmosphere, and the way they love my daughter. The progress my daughter has made has been fantastic and she always enjoys going to "class". Definitely worth the hour drive we've been making for the last 18 months!

Melanie is very personable with her patients and truly wants what is best for my son. My son had been getting therapy through the school system for 3 years and was making very little gains. In only a few sessions with her, he was already making improvements, and we noticed differences in his speech. Melanie's office is very cozy and comfortable, which makes my son more comfortable and willing to interact with her.
