I’m currently looking for speech therapy for my son and I tried calling this place SEVERAL times…NO ANSWER…..all I get is a text message saying, “On the other line helping another family.” And they did not call me back at all later that day. First impressions are EVERYTHING to me and this is a BIG red flag. Not even an option for me anymore…

If I could give this company a 0/5 review I would. I am highly unimpressed by the services provided. Since day one I have gotten a run around with starting speech therapy for my child. I contacted them back in the beginning of June, it's now the middle of September and I am no further than where I was when I first started. It has been one thing after another. My child needed an evaluation which she received and was indicative of her needing speech. However, the evaluation was never input into their system and I was contacted 4 weeks later stating that she needed an evaluation. I kindly mentioned that she already had one and was told that they would look into it, 2 weeks go by and nothing more had been said. I reached back out to see where we were at in the process only to be told the evaluation was still waiting to be submitted. Another 2 weeks go by, I call again and still no evaluation was input into their system. Finally, I was notified that the evaluation had been input and it needed to be submitted to insurance. Our insurance didn't require a pre authorization for services and was told that the evaluation would be sent to my child'd pediatrician for sign off. Fast forward another 2 weeks, I call to get an update yet again and was told they are waiting to get the paperwork back from the pediatrician. In the mean time, I called the pediatricians office and was informed that they JUST RECEIVED the paperwork meaning 2 weeks ago when it was suppose to be sent over, it wasnt. I am furious at this point with the lack of communication and inconsistency from Therachoice. Had it not been for me advocating for my daughter and constantly following up with the progress of getting her started, she would have been forgotten about.

Our son went to TheraChoice for 2 years for speech and OT. The therapists were top-notch and helped our son say his first words. I could not speak highly enough of the therapists. The reason TheraChoice gets two stars is because the management and billing is very poor. We moved out-of-state in 2022. During this move, the credit card on file expired. Elodie, TheraChoice's owner, sent us email asking us to update the information. Innocently enough, we forgot to call and update the card. That was the last time we heard from Elodie. Instead a collections agency called us nearly 2 years later and began threating lawsuits if we didn't pay. We were lucky enough to have a relative help us pay off the $4,000 bill at one time. It still would have been nice to be billed in a timely manner before we left and to get more than a single email before sending us to collections.

TheraChoice for the win! I've been looking for ABA for awhile. Shylo has been amazing in helping get everything arranged with a therapist and with my daughter's insurance. She has definitely gone above and beyond and I'm so thankful for everything she has done for us!

TheraChoice has been instrumental in helping my kids with both Speech and OT needs. Sharon has helped my son come so far with improving his mixed receptive-expressive speech disorder and gaining confidence. Tricia has helped both of my kids with their respective OT needs, going above and beyond when they are struggling. I am so happy that we have been able to establish consistency in the ongoing relationships with our therapists and that my kids continue to get the support they need.

Miss Shauna is such a wonderful speach teacher. She goes above and beyond. I have seen so much improvement with my daughter. She is amazing. I feel so thankful that we found her. She is very knowledgeable and such a kind person. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Alyssa Snyder has been working with our grandson and she is amazing! We couldn't be happier with his progress! With such a busy schedule we are so appreciative of how thoughtful Alyssa always is by providing us scheduling and progress updates! Outstanding communication! Thanks for your support and the amazing help with our grandson!

Alyssa has been amazing! She has been working with my son for 5 months and his speech has improved immensely! When she started working with him he was only saying 2-3 word sentences and today he is now saying 7-8 word sentences. My son absolutely loves her and we are so grateful she is his therapist! Highly recommend their services, and especially Alyssa!

Therachoice is wonderful! The staff is amazing, they really care about their patients, and they really listen to what your concerns are and give great insight on how to go forward. Bethany & Elodie have helped me with getting the appropriate support for my son. Ariel is his speech therapist and she is fantastic! I don’t live in St Pete and I happily make the drive when needed.
