This place is absolutely amazing. They have worked with both of my kids, and have helped them both tremendously. They are very kind and good at what they do. I highly recommend Therakids!!

My 18-month-old son started occupational therapy a few months ago due to low muscle tone and feeding difficulties. Although, as a first-time mother, I was apprehensive about enrolling him in a facility-based program rather than home-based services, the experience has been wonderful. Going to Therakidz sessions twice a week has become one of my son's most enjoyable activities. He has developed a strong bond with Sarah and Joe, whose genuine care and dedication to the children is evident. Watching other children enter and exit the facility with smiles on their faces further reinforces my confidence in their services. Within the short timespan my son has demonstrated notable progress, for which I am deeply grateful. The accommodating scheduling arrangements have been particularly beneficial for me as a working mother. If you are seeking occupational therapy services, I would highly recommend Therakidz.

Since starting at Therakids, my 4-year-old son has made incredible progress even in areas I didn’t realize he was struggling with. Sarah and Joe are not only exceptional occupational therapists, but they also help build his confidence and character. Their keen eye for fine motor skills caught subtle mannerisms I had assumed were just part of his personality. Within just a few months, they helped him work through these challenges with care and expertise. Coming to Therakids was truly the best decision we made to support his development. What stands out most is how deeply Sarah and Joe get to know not only the child, but the whole family. They genuinely care, and it shows in every interaction. The environment is warm, welcoming, and full of happy kids who feel safe and supported. My son looooves going and absolutely adores Ms. Sarah and Mr. Joe! Staten Island is truly blessed to have such an incredible team of OTs, that care and are also incredibly knowledgeable!

Ms. Sarah and Ms.Ally have been amazing from the start! We had our boys evaluated and they have been very professional and informative in their thorough assessment. One of my son usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but once they walked in, they felt right at home. He even talked about everything that he thought about, which surprised us. By the time we had to leave, our boys cried and didn’t want to leave. As a therapist working with the developmental field, I was truly impressed by the professionalism, generosity, skills, compassion, and transparency that these ladies offered and they offer very individualized support and professional opinions that were very impactful for us and our children. They are truly a gem and you will not be disappointed if you decide to go to them for services.
