Therapeutic Alliance Roanoke, Va

My son had ABA services with TA and then his two clinicians left due to "shady things" going on with the company. Due to this they did not have another clinician to work with my son. We waited months for the company to get more clinicians on staff and trained. We had been in contacted with Tomeca Paige about starting services with them again when they had someone trained. They were training new staff and so we moved forward with the assessment process and did the assessment with Kelly Trutter. When I received the assessment there were multiple things incorrect. Therefore, I emailed Kelly and Ryan Parkinson about these changes that needed to be made prior to this being sent to FAPT for hours being approved. I also had an issue with the hours that were being approved as my son was approved for more the first time due to all of the services we have tried and failed. Kelly stated that she would fix the assessment and send the revised copy to FAPT. The revised copy of the assessment was NOT sent to FAPT. I was in contact with Ryan and he stated that ABA was to start by next Thursday. I had not heard anything. Started calling Ryan and April Ortiz at least twice a day and leaving messages with no return call. After not getting any answers for weeks I asked my son's CM to try. She got in touch with Tomeca and she informed her that TA will not be providing ABA services to my son with no explanation as to why. My son's CM then called the Director multiple times and left messages with no call back. I have called Tomeca multiple times with no call back. This company is very unprofessional. I work in the mental health field and I have never seen a company that was so unprofessional. I would never suggest TA to any patient or family of mine.

Therapeutic Alliance is a wonderful company. They are the definition of inclusive and supportive. The staff is great and always makes me feel supported! I would recommend this company to my closest friends and family.
