I was the epitome of a good patient. I followed all doctor orders. I love Dr Ferrell. He loved me. I always complied with everything they proposed. I also had my therapist here. And, she was my therapist for years. We’d always had a few ups and downs. I’m not perfect, but Penny, my therapist was very abrasive and not exactly what you would call comforting. But, In the absolute worst time, after my dad, my everything passed away. my mom was placed in a nursing home for severe dementia. I was having marital issues. I missed a couple of appointments, but not without calling to cancel. In this horrible time, my therapist, Penny Stokes, fired me as a patient after I walked out on our last appointment, because she had absolutely no Couth in dealing with this. She fired me directly after….from the entire clinic. I was at a ‘don’t want to live point. They would not even refill my medications. I’m bipolar, and I HAVE to have my medicine. But, because of Penny’s ego after I walked out (quietly and reserved), I received no further care. This is an organization I was with for at least 7 years. This is an organization I loved. But, I would not recommend anyone who wants an emotionally consistent, caring person to attempt with Penny. She made a horrible situation 10 Times worse by not allowing me to continue therapy with a different therapist and continue to receive my medication‘s which are absolutely necessary for my survival.

I have seen my therapist every 2 weeks for about 4 months now. She and the Dr have made such a positive change in my daily life!! I wish I had started seeing them years ago!!
