Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Two years ago our son was diagnosed with mild autism and trying to find an ABA agency that would see us and we would not have to wait more than a year was challenging until we were we blessed with Therapy Associates. They matched us with our ABA therapist Miss Emily who in my eyes is an angel. Words can't describe how amazing Miss Emily is with our son and how much he adores her. We’ve seen so much growth in his communication, independence, and confidence thanks to her in the past two years. We are so grateful and blessed to have her and our wonderful BCBA Miss Stacy in our lives and would recommend them both to everyone!
Positive experience testimony! We’ve been extremely pleased with the therapists and our BCBA. We know how fortunate we are to have had the same three therapists working with our son for the entire year. Their dedication and commitment to his progress are truly immeasurable. Our son has made tremendous gains in every area of his life. His vocabulary has expanded, he’s now forming full sentences, and he can tell us when he’s not feeling well. He’s also using the potty consistently and has even started going #2 on his own. During ABA sessions, he no longer elopes and actually looks forward to his therapists’ arrival—something that took about 6–8 months to achieve. His transitions between activities, from potty breaks to movement breaks and everything in between, are now smooth and effortless. He’s engaged, cooperative, and moves through sessions with minimal downtime or frustration. We’ve also noticed significant progress in high-sensory environments such as football games, the beach, and amusement parks. He listens to directions, follows social expectations, and handles stimulation much better. For example, I now take him and my younger son to my husband’s high school football games on my own—without help from my mom or a babysitter. There’s no eloping, he holds hands, and although I reward his good behavior with a few minutes of play on my phone, it’s truly night and day compared to his behavior at games last fall. We are beyond grateful for the high-quality service, consistency, and care this team provides. The impact they’ve had on our son and our family has been truly life-changing.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful during a process that can be difficult to navigate that for so many is a challenging process. They made sure every step was explained, and paired my child with a fantastic BCBA and team of therapists. They keep in constant touch to ensure every thing continues smoothly. So very happy with our services from therapy associates
Our experience with Therapy Associates ABA Services was extremely disappointing. We worked with BCBA Brooke and therapist Marlene for two weeks while awaiting our son’s placement in an out-of-district (OOD) school. Initially, we were hopeful, but the way this agency handled communication and scheduling was unacceptable. When we needed to adjust therapy times to accommodate our son’s new school schedule, we communicated this to BCBA Brooke through the group chat she created. Instead of acknowledging the message, she ignored it completely. My wife was later blindsided by a call from the agency, asking about the situation—something that could have easily been avoided had Brooke simply responded. From that point on, we felt a clear shift in attitude once they realized our son would be transitioning to school soon. Additionally, our son has a diagnosed sleep disorder, which sometimes led to cancellations when he was too exhausted to engage in therapy. Despite this, BCBA Brooke made an insensitive comment during a session, stating that he “should not be missing therapy due to sleep because he won’t be able to miss school.” This showed a complete lack of understanding of our son’s needs. What made this even more frustrating was the fact that she herself frequently canceled supervision sessions due to headaches, stomach bugs, and other personal reasons. We were always understanding, yet that same courtesy was not extended to us. Overall, we found this agency’s approach unprofessional and lacking in compassion. We will not be continuing services with them and cannot recommend them to families who value respectful communication and flexibility in care. ————————— Response to reply: So ghosting the family and the child who is receiving services is now called “trying to find a BCBA that can accommodate the schedule”? Seems odd to me that we never heard from Brooke again once my wife sent out that text stating about our son’s school. If this seems professional to your agency and your BCBAs then there is not much to go from. Thank you for your well wishes and I hope no other child/family goes through what we went through.
I was panic when my daughter was initially diagnosed last October. I reached out to Therapy Associates ABA service on 10/2023. Ester is very knowledgeable. She assisted me to find the best BCBA/Stacy and therapists (Thania/Laura) for my daughter. My daughter has been progress very good in the last 6 months. Ester listens to parent's concerns and coordinates everything fast. I can't say enough good experiences which I had with Therapy Associates. I highly recommend Therapy Associates to everyone!
We have been using Therapy Associates since out son's initial diagnosis. I have been a Special Education teacher for 20 years, so I was particularly choosy about the agency and providers that we used for our son. Therapy Associates has been wonderful. The staff helped us find the therapists that best fit our little guy's personality, needs, and schedule. The staff checks in regularly and very quick to respond when we have questions or requests. I have recommended Therapy Associates to several students' families as well as other parents that I have come across. Autism is not easy, but Therapy Associates makes the process of finding the right therapists for your child a breeze. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will continue to recommend them to any parent looking for services. Our son's BCBA and ABA are incredibly creative and very loving, we couldn't ask for a better fit.
