Therapy Services for Children

This clinic is extremely gentle and neuro-affirming. It was at one point the only safe space for our child with a complex neurodivergent profile to attend regularly. Also a plus that no "behaviorist" interventions were ever used or recommended. Our child is thriving and we are very grateful to have had them as part of our team for a couple years. Our therapists have been incredibly kind and patient and provided a lot of emotional support and professional guidance for parents as well. TSFC came highly recommended before we signed up, and I 100% repeat that recommendation after our experience.

My child just graduated from OT services at TSFC. The OT assigned to him was a great fit, and he looked forward to his sessions every week. Many OT clinics do not take insurance, so I was so happy that they took ours, as it made it possible for my child to get the support he needed to help with his challenges. One thing I appreciated was being able to sit in on the occasional therapy session to observe and learn how OT works. I picked up on ways of communicating with my kid both verbally and non-verbally that helped me at home. I noticed more in detail HOW they struggled and where he needed work. Virtual parent-OT meetings were super helpful, too. Our OT didn't just cover what they did and why. They also checked in with me, the parent, to ask about immediate challenges that might need attention, that were not part of my kid's overall goals. I very much appreciated the relationship we were able to develop with our OT and the owner. From the paperwork, insurance, scheduling, and communication. It worked well for us.

Incredible OT program for my 5 year old. Very easy to communicate with and accepts insurance. Long waitlist but very worth it when you get on the schedule. Our therapist Kate, and the other therapists we saw, were wonderful people who strongly connected with kids and were excellent communicators with parents and other supports. There are a lot of gross motor options in a 'play gym' as well as a large amount of other tools to work with kids. Can't recommend enough. Parking is also very easy. Very clean, always on time.

Callie has been fantastic, and we have made tremendous progress with my child. I’m very grateful for this practice!

We went to Therapy Services for Children for 2 years. Callie was our OT and my son always looked forward to his weekly appointment. Many of the skills gained in OT have set my son up for success in kindergarten where he is thriving. As a family we felt very well supported by Callie and Heidi. Highly recommend this clinic!

I was referred to OT for my 5 year-old and Heidi is a miracle worker. She helped point me in the direction for other assessments, referrals, and even attended my sons virtual 504 plan meeting for school. From impulse control support, sensory seeking behavior solutions, to designing a plan for an overwhelming Thanksgiving gathering-OT has been so helpful for our family. I cannot recommend Heidi enough, she is knowledgeable, compassionate, fun, and cares so deeply for those she helps. I have referred so many of my friends to see her and have so much respect for what she does.

We're so thankful to Heidi and Callie for helping our family. They're not only excellent at working with children, but their straightforward, honest advice to parents has been much appreciated too. Even after our kids graduated out of OT, Heidi was still available for thorough and relevant consultations. Parenting is hard so it's been lovely having Therapy Services for Children as part of our "village."
