Same issues as the other negative reviews. Billing problems, lack of customer support, the main office takes weeks to respond. We’ve been trying to get reimbursed for excess copays since April. Therapy Tree still owes us $200+. Don’t waste your time!

I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication from your team. This isn’t the first time my son’s virtual speech appointments have been missed without any notice. There are no calls or emails when the therapist can’t make it—just a random new link sent with no explanation. When I click the new links, no one is on the other line. No one answers the phone either, which makes it even more frustrating. Please address this with your staff. It’s extremely unprofessional and upsetting, especially when my four-year-old son is excited to see his “teacher” and ends up being stood up with no communication at all.

Do not go here. I have no clue about all that happened last year (2024) but there have been nothing but bad changes since then. The OT we saw and loved, left. We tried other ones but it wasn’t the same. We saw a speech therapist for my other kid and she was amazing! She’s the only reason they’re getting 2 stars. If you try to call and have to leave a message for scheduling or billing, ya good luck! Do not expect a call back. Billing gives you someone foreign who isn’t understanding the context of what you’re saying. My last conversation with them, they asked what office I was calling about. I said, “umm isn’t this the Therapy Tree billing?” They said their system was down and they would call me back when it was working. That was 2 days ago. A previous time I had called scheduling to try and change an appointment. I called and left messages on THREE different days, and no one ever called me back. Finally after repeated calls someone finally answered and helped me work it out. At the front desk, now you have a tablet to check in. There’s a person there but it seems very impersonal. Overall if you can go to a different office, I’d highly recommend it. Over 2 years ago I’d have a different opinion, but whatever has changed is for the worse. It seems all about money and making the most profit and they don’t care about helping the kids who are going there. Some therapists that are still there I’m sure are great and do care, but if admin can’t back it up, that’s who parents have to deal with. If parents have a hard time working with admin and insurance it’s just a headache not worth having. I know finding an office to help your little ones is hard and I do wish you the best of luck!

My son attends therapy here 2x's a week. Multiple times, the staff has cancelled my son's appointment AFTER WE SHOW UP for the appointment. I spoke to managers, they said it was because they switched systems. They did the same thing today and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told I need to wait a week for response. I'll be reaching out to medical board AND FBI to discuss this as well as fraudulent charges on days he was not seen. I work the medical field and I know there are consequences and laws in place that your organization HAS NOT followed.

Started off great, we loved Yohany and Cody. We were seeing them twice a week the last year for speech therapy. Communication was great with them, not so much with leadership. The clinic is quick to get you in for an evaluation, but once you’re in, it’s like you’re sort of on your own. We noticed things started going downhill fast. It is very difficult to get ahold of anybody for scheduling or cancellations. The billing department doesn’t bill consistently, so we were seeing random charges. $40, $65, $25, $165, $400. We understood what our financial responsibility was, but it was becoming a problem when everything was being charged all at once instead of after every session. They always have an excuse as to why things are done a certain way. It takes weeks for anybody to get back to you. Our child was meeting their therapy goals consistently, or we were told they were. No documentation to show if the client is making progress or not. The clinic has a habit of cancelling sessions the same day, sometimes hours before the session. There were a few times we cancelled due to our child being sick. Today we got a last minute call asking if we were wanting to continue services because our child didn’t have any more scheduled sessions. This confused us as the clinic has always scheduled our sessions automatically for the last year. When I said “yes”, the representative told us it was time for a new evaluation. We got a weird feeling, and felt they didn’t value our child as a client anymore. We decided to stop services as it didn’t rub us the right way. We originally had high expectations and standards for this clinic, only to be let down a year later.

My son has been coming here for over a year now. My honest opinion is your experience is going to be based on the therapist you have. As long as they are great and consistent not much else will matter as much. Front desk people aren’t the greatest. They don’t come off as welcoming. They don’t ever answer the phone and if they do they don’t seem to know much. My son is thriving here though and that’s why I think it will matter most if you have a great therapist! Taylor and Brianna have done such an amazing job with my son and are great in detail with there updates on your child. Highly recommend them for speech therapy or a class!

No direct phone line, no one answers the phone or calls back. They replaced the front desk lady with an iPad and are unavailable to speak to unless you interrupt a therapist and get escorted to a room. Hard to cancel or request appointments due to this. Therapy room was converted into open concept but is small and packed. This is a “medical” type service but there is no patient support at all. Company is refusing to provide paperwork of therapy provided or submit verification to insurance. I would suggest anywhere else

After numerous voicemails left to make an appointment finally got someone to call me back. Scheduled appointment. At 6 pm the night before his appointment they call and tell me the insurance they have on file is not valid (guess it came over w referral from doc office, no one asked me about it when I scheduled) so they cancelled appointment. I called right back, of course no answer. So unprofessional to call not even a business day ahead. Not like I can call you update they don’t answer. Very unprofessional office. Then took them 4 business days to call me back again to try and reschedule.

I'm so disappointed therapy didnt work out for our family. It started out GREAT. So attentive and communicative. Then something changed and they started requiring check in on the ipad, and it all went down hill. The front desk girls are no longer there. I've called multiple times to change my appointment time, no response. I've called different departments and left messages, no call back. Please do not bring your kids here. They're only in the business to make money, not help kids.

I utilized the Flagstaff office and despite the fact that I liked the two employees my daughter worked with, the organization as a whole is horrible to work with. The flagstaff office doesn’t have a receptionist, so everything goes through the Phoenix offices. They will only book out 2 weeks in advanced if you follow the instructions for scheduling and by the time they came along they were always booked up. I couldn’t get consistent appointments for my daughter and had several phone calls crying trying to get the help we were looking for. If you have the “in”, then you are given a managers phone number and she can schedule you out farther but won’t give consistent appointments unless you are scheduling for weekly appointments. Additionally, I dealt with the company charging me all sorts of different pricing instead of my copay. I confirmed with insurance that my copay was $40 and sent emails and tried to call someone to talk about it. No one ever calls you back. The last time I was able to make contact with someone from billing, I had to call a manager in Phoenix and she called from another phone and put us both on speaker to be able to have a conversation. I was told it would be fixed but it still wasn’t. I was being billed for a tier 2, when I was supposed to be tier1 and sent all the documentation support it. Lastly, my daughters last appointment was canceled on a Monday for her Friday appointment. When Friday arrived, I received a phone call asking if I was going to arrive to the appointment. Supposedly we were removed from the schedule but then added back to the schedule and no one thought to call us to tell us our appointment had been rescheduled. Services are already so difficult to come by in Flagstaff and I felt defeated and exhausted trying to deal with therapy tree. I will be looking elsewhere for services and wish anyone else luck when trying to deal with therapy tree. 3 months after my initial review and I am still dealing with Therapy Tree despite the fact my kiddo has not been since the end of March. I received a bill in the mail which is different than the bill I have on my portal. No where on my bill does it show where insurance was billed before sending out to me. Again I went through the process of trying to call Therapy Tree with very little success getting in touch with someone. I called the number on my paper bill and the company tells me they no longer work with Therapy Tree. First Dead End. Then I call the online phone number to try and reach someone at an office. Only ever get voice mail. There is an option to speak to a different company regarding billing questions but the last time I called that number I was on hold for about an hour before the line disconnected. When I tried again the third party that did their billing had no answers to my questions because they only knew how to send out the bill and receive payment and nothing more. Furthermore, my paper bill and online bill have no breakdown for what I am being charged. It looks as though I was charged different amounts on different days between 2/17 and 6/18. When looking through the portal at clinical summaries, I would assume a brief note would be added to give me some sort of idea of what took place during the session. The only thing offered in these clinical summaries was the diagnosis code with no further information about anything. Avoid this place. Their idea of customer service is appalling. You can never find anyone to speak with and just causes more frustration and time than they are worth. Go elsewhere. (updated 7/28)
