Thrive Therapy

I booked a birthday party with thrive therapy and the booking experience and communication was smooth and easy with the event coordinator (Alicea). The party was booked from 1pm-3pm and a 15 minute breakdown. However, on the day of the party as it was approaching the end of the party the staff member who was present (Destiny) had an unpleasant deamonor. She reminded me that the time was approaching in which I thanked her for the reminder. However what I didn't agree with was her speaking to guest of the party advising them that she's about to give me a warning to leave as if I was over the allotted timeframe in which I was not. The agreement was that I had 15 minutes to breakdown after my session however we had to re-sing happy birthday to my son because she kept interrupting me asking for a check. For full transparency the check was suppose to be provided at the beginning of the party but I was never asked for it until the end. My guest and I was out by 3:09pm which further shows that we were rushed out. Overall the space is good and my guest enjoyed themselves. Only issue was towards the end of the event being rushed out of the building and not being provided with the bubble machine.

All I have is great praise for Thrive Therapy Center. My 5 year old son currently attends and I have never seen him so excited to go somewhere every morning. I have seen tremendous growth and improvement in his daily interactions as well as extending his vocabulary. I also really appreciate the patience, care and attention all the staff give him. I've never been more confident about the changes they've been able to bring out of my son. One staff member in particular George really connected with my family and helped us unravel the particular goals to make them tangible for us and my son. His level of patience, insight and skill is incomparable to anyone we ever delt with while seeking help for our son. For the first time I feel like my son is in the perfect position at Thrive to bring out the qualities that will help him excel in society. I suggest anyone that has questions or concerns about their childs development to give them a call and set up an appointment.

There are very few ABA clinics that also offer in-home Speech & Occupational therapy from Dallas to Prosper, TX. Thrive Therapy makes the lives of parents’ so much easier and provides kids with an amazing environment.

My daughter went here for 2 years. If your child is high functioning, this is NOT the place for them. George Carson, who is the head of ABA, refused on multiple times to change up her reward structure, as she had very little improvement on behaviors; which was one of the main reasons we put her in ABA. Not to mention they were stripping my child down to her underwear multiple times a day; and to top it off, it was a male making her do it.

Was suppose to talk and help my daughter's instead they walked out scared and crying and being forced to do something they didn't want too.. took my kids and left and will never go back
