Thriveworks Counseling & Psychiatry Silver Spring

I had a frustrating experience with Thriveworks due to a scheduling issue. They have a very strict policy and charge a $135 late/no-show fee, even in cases where the scheduling error may not have been thriveworks fault. Their approach feels overly rigid and profit-driven, which was disappointing.

My daughter took a long time to open up to her, but when they did; it was inseparable. Adelle had a great bond with my daughter. However, she abruptly disappeared with no explanation and that devastated my child. We got a call from Thrive stating that she will no longer be my daughter’s therapist. But still no word from her, even after I reached out to explain the importance of her breaking the news to her client. Trust has been broken!

Candice was awesome… definitely recognized my needs and came up with a plan moving forward. I look forward to continuing working with her.

I started working with Mohammed at the beginning of 2021. I did so as I had planned to work on improving myself but throughout the process Mo helped me discover things about me that were deep rooted and needed to come to the surface. I had gone through episodes of anxiety and depression but didn't really know/acknowledged it but this time when it happened again I had Mo's support through counseling to work through that. All in all, I'm glad I went through this as I've come out a stronger person and improved my relationship with myself. It can seem daunting but enrolling with Thriveworks is easy and they have good counselors.

Being with Thriveworks has been a life-changing experience. Mohammed has been such an incredible voice of reason, inspiration and guidance throughout my journey. He is a very focused listener with a demeanor that invites trust and candid conversations. The sessions feel relaxed and I always gain something at the end. I am very grateful to have him and very thankful to have chosen Thriveworks for my self-care.
