Thriving Minds Success with Dyslexia

Barb has completely changed the trajectory of our son's learning. He has gone from not knowing what he was looking at on the page to being right where his reading level is supposed to be. Barb shows you her methods so you can duplicate them at home and works with the school system to help educators understand what dyslexics are experiencing in the classroom. We are so glad and fortunate to have found her.

Barb is highly trained and skilled with not only dyslexia, but working with and understanding the developmental needs of your child. Our son Austin was struggling in Kindergarten with concentrating and keeping up with his peers. As a parent you want your children to succeed. We knew Austin was a smart child, but he struggled to write and recognize letters and numbers. We were referred to Thriving Minds by his teacher and he completed a two-week young learner course for Dyslexia. Within two weeks he is thriving. He can recognize and write the alphabet. He has started sounding out words and using the tools he has learned both at home and in his extracurricular activities. Barb has done an amazing job with this program and her students are her success story.
