If you are single parent struggling with kids, do not go community care camp; if they get slightly chance they will call the cps and your children remove from the house. I’m single mom. I have been struggling with my 11 year old son who was has behavior issues. He was place summer program and was place in special needs class. He got frustrated and agitative to them cuz maybe he was board. According to their report he was violently towards staff and throw furniture around. When they informed him that they were gonna call his mom, he insisted not begged them. He said if you do, she will kill me. The immediately call the cps on me.

I am currently an employee at Seattle Community Care and I have never been happier at a job or company more. I feel I am fully supported and have the tools I need to be the best behavioral specialist I can be. They offer extra support when needed and you can tell they care about their staff. I am extremely grateful to work for such an amazing company.

I've worked at CC for nearly 2 years and absolutely love it. I started working at CC as a university student and management was always not only flexible with my schedule, but never treated my schedule needs as a burden. Management is also super caring; they prioritize staff self care and wellness more than any place I've ever worked. There is good pay, excellent benefits, and lots of open space for discussion about the work. Because of the types of kids we work with, the job can sometimes be physically, emotionally, and/or mentally taxing, but again managers and other staff are excellent at making sure you are okay and taken care of. Working with the kids CC works with has been incredibly rewarding, challenging, and fun. Unlike most jobs, you get to have fun and be like a kid again in some ways because you facilitate fun for kids. While you take on the responsible role of a behavior specialist, you also get to play alongside your client, helping them live out their childhood healthily. If you are interested in a career related to psychology, this is an awesome place to work because you work with sooo many different types and ages of youth that you get exposed to many different types of situations and learn how to apply therapy in different contexts. It is client-focused, emotion focused, and management are willing to hear ideas of how to continue to better serve our clients.

Community Care LLC focuses on a community based program that is warm welcoming and supportive. Community Care offers great benefits and is supportive with career growth. At Community Care I work with special needs students supporting them with in person as well as online learning. I am encouraged to bring ideas to the table with students curriculum which makes me feel valued as a staff member. The staff at Community Care also schedules time to talk about my own career path and personal growth to help me be the best I can be for my student's. The staff is well trained in various areas of behavioral therapy, psychology, and school based academics so I've been able to learn valuable skills that will help me in the duration of my career. My overall experience at Community Care has been positive and I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the behavioral therapy profession.

Community Care is an incredible place to work. I have been with the company for six years and stayed because of the extraordinary support provided to staff and the high quality of service to clients. The team is uncommonly committed to staff development and growth and holds a philosophy of understanding the child on the deepest level to create long-term, lasting behavior change. Community Care is an agency that does what is right for the child, even if it is difficult.
